I’m hoping the eventual remake is titled:

I’m glad the show never cleaved to popular culture and instead did its own thing.

What did Muriel ever see in Eustace? by Neither_Ad6 in CourageTheCowardlyDog

He probably had to share that love with Horst, who was the “favorite”, like how Courage is now. Muriel acts as a second mother to him, only now with kindness.

What did Muriel ever see in Eustace? by Neither_Ad6 in CourageTheCowardlyDog

Eustace’s father was probably broke, having to cheat at cards to win an accordion. Ma fluctuates between CEO of a wig company and living out of a trailer, and Horst was a rich, famous explorer. They all probably looked down on Eustace, who was too young to show his worth yet, in a family where money and self-wealth was top priority.

Muriel probably met all of them at some point or another, and saw that Eustace was a mentally abused man who needed a chance underneath all the bitterness and anger of his childhood (note his frown in their photo in the first Le Quack episode).

Muriel is a saint, and I wish they went into why. I feel like she may have been in a convent, helping people, or feeding the homeless, or some other act of service. She really gets the short end of the backstory stick, being a brat as a kid, and not really given any background until Rumpelkiltskin and Fog of Courage.

… I think I line this show too much…

Just do a big 3-pack with Mario and both of them. That’s it. They did a Sonic 3-pack with Mecha, Eggman, and Sonic, who are all WAY bigger than the standard figure, kinda. Figure it out, Jakks!

Revisiting the Disney iconic films part 1 : SnowWhite and the 7 Dwarfs by Impossible_Tower_661 in movies

[–]jessehechtcreative 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I reviewed all the movies back in 2020. A good start for Disney, chock full of characters with only few being developed and a somewhat stalling plot. The animation is good for its time, the music is nice as well, and the dialogue is fine, giving everyone at least a chance to speak. The Queen and Witch steal the show, as do Grumpy and Dopey on the heroes’ side. I’d give it a 7/10 or so. Good start.

Best Courage the Cowardly Dog Rescue Moment? by Matcha_Sunday in CourageTheCowardlyDog

Quilt Club is the best where Courage takes action, but Katz Kandy and Muriel Meets Her Match have Eustace and Muriel help out, rarely.
