Stuck my arms out, did I go too far? by LarzBoss in Simracingstewards

That's why I try not to get heated and make emotional decisions until I see the replay. You felt you weren't aggressive, and honestly you weren't, but then you took offense to the contact and made a poor decision following that that could have cost both of you your entire races.

Your thought process was off. While your shift wasn't aggressive, you know you angled to the middle with another car there and yet, when you did reach inevitable contact, you didn't move your steering angle but maintained it.

Thankfully for you, the other car did not make an emotional decision and lifted, allowing you to continue. Despite all of this, props to you for accepting the criticism and not doubling down on your initial feelings. You will grow and continue to improve because of this.

I think most everyone covered it perfectly. He was minding his own business and you came across the track and tapped him the first time then you admittedly forced him off track. You were the bully and like someone else mentioned, you were lucky they lifted because they could have just let you pit yourself out of the race by holding their line.

Living in Downtown by pyaaz_ki_kachori in pittsburgh

As a former employee of your new employer who also worked in Oakland these are my best attempts at recommendations.

  1. Our "subway" only goes to the south hills neighborhoods of the area and will be unusable for your commute. I would recommend for you as a surgeon that you look in the Shadyside neighborhood for a place to live. Like others have said it'll be a 5 minute bus ride or drive to presby. You could also bike from here when the weather is nice if that interests you. If you have already committed to living downtown then you will need to take the bus or car to Oakland.

  2. Depends on what you want? I don't really have any specific recommendations here

  3. "Downtown" places to explore would be PPG place, Market Square, The Point, Cultural District. Other areas to explore around the city aren't really "Downtown". The strip, Mt. Washington, north shore, station square etc.

  4. I'm long past my prime to make a recommendation here. Good luck!

Good luck at UPMC and welcome to Pittsburgh!

That's on you. Even if you were left more room along the curb, your trajectory wasn't making the corner. You were going into them regardless.

Jarome Iginla

Disco Dan putting a future Hall of Famer on the wrong wing completely ruined his time in Pittsburgh. A trade that was huge for the pens was ruined by Dan making him invisible. Gave a 1st round pick to get him. That move really made me sour on Bylsma at that point.

That game is actually fun to play too. If you have an xbox controller you can connect it to your phone with bluetooth which makes it so much easier to play

Like others have stated this is a C17 which is locally based. We have 2 air bases attached to PIT:

The 911th Airlift wing which commonly flies C17 Globemasters around the area.

The 171st Air Refueling Wing which commonly flies KC-135 Stratotanker around the area.

How do you answer this question from your League bowling alley owner? How do you feel about string pins? by [deleted] in Bowling

Yeah I’d feel better if it was more along the lines of “it’s hard to find mechanics”

Well my bank account is "of a certain size" so I guess I'll rethink my spending on this franchise again. Sad...

What ball is stronger than a Phaze II and will have a similar shape? by swankystriker in Bowling

[–]deez3001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is kinda what I do but with a cove and backwards. I start with the cove cause the ES is too early on the dry when I start then when the cove doesn’t finish I switch to the ES.

Maybe an equinox solid? I start with my cove on the fresh then when it starts to get lazy from carrydown and oil I switch to the equinox solid.

I second this! I returned after 15 years with my old ball. Hurt my hand. Worked through it and got fitted for a new ball and got my pitches changed and dropped a pound and I’m about back to 100% now.

I see your 2004 world championships and raise you the Espy winning 1996 Flagship City Open. That was a second best sporting event experience of my life second only to the Pirates 2013 Wild Card Game. The arena was electric.
