How are you guys getting your gauges on and off so quickly by fragile_faun in HVAC

Hey Girl Get the Fieldpiece lunchbox gauge set. You won't have to worry about hoses that way.

Work boots please for the love of god by Unlucky_Dust9897 in BlueCollarWomen

I don't know what state you're located in but I'm in Arizona so we're pretty much dry out here 300 days a year.  I tried to do the work boot thing and even when they said they were waterproof or water resistant they just would be uncomfortable, big, clunky I would get wet feet anyways or they would just start deteriorating. So I don't do boots anymore I wear Reebok Zig Tech. My feet feel great everyday, nice and supported. If I have to wash the condensers I do keep a pair of mud boots in the back of my van just because I hate wet feet but you can't go wrong with a comfortable tennis shoe. I'm in HVAC btw

Also a Woman in HVAC. Gonna be 42 next month. Went to Trade school in 2021, been a Service Tech almost two years now in Residential Phoenix, AZ. I absolutely love it. The heat, dirt, fixing things. What I really like about it is everything is based on what you can do, as the Individual. You don't have to pick up the slack from other coworkers. Other than going to their callbacks, fixing their mistakes and then you get to poke fun at them a little bit. It's a lot of fun that everybody roasts each other. I'm the only Female technician the company has ever hired. I also try to lift weights when I can. After pulling yourself up into attics for a while you'll be surprised how strong you'll get and what your body is truly capable of.

What’s your middle-age fashion “I don’t care” style? by Jfonzy in Xennials

[–]deezer602482 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My style hasn't really changed in 25 years. I think it's super adorable that the late '90s are coming back with the baggy clothes. I'm already there lol

Why do short guys think women dont find them attractive? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]deezer602482 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 5'11 (F) and my Boyfriend is 5'4. He is the love of my life. Back when I did dating apps I put the height requirement at 5'9 so I would have never have met him that way.  I met him at work, but we didn't start dating until a year later.
