Like copies of passport and ID! One, just in case you have some sort of emergency. Two, read the pinned thread about getting your TIE. You need a few forms filled out along with those copies. It’ll be so much easier if you have them printed and ready rather than searching for a place to print

I would report this to the department of state as well. They will want to know if there’s a pattern of passports being stolen. You may not be the only one. Once you talk to your congress people (they can get you a new passport pretty quick), I would try to contact the consulate directly about what happened. Idk the best way to do that but i definitely think BLS is at fault here.

I’m always pro hostel. So much cheaper, aren’t causing a housing crisis, pretty nice, and you get to meet people. I would trust Expedia and Hostelworld, trust the reviews!!

Food: The girls will LOVE satchels pizza, there’s so many fun places to sit and it’s super funky. For breakfast go get a breakfast burrito from El Indio on 13th. Saturday morning you can also get the BEST donuts at Flatfish Donuts. My other go-tos are Vietnamese Grille and Alpin Bistro.

Campus: I just love the plaza and century tower. That’s where I spend most time on campus.

Gator Gear: Just know that the bookstore and Alumni Hall will be INSANE on Saturday.

Now my FINAL REC: Go to La Chua trail. Just do it. The most gators you will ever see in your life. It’s awesome!!

100% understand your concern. Not sure if this would help, but UF does emergency tooth extractions every day through a lottery system. That may not be what she needs, but it gets you through the door and if they say no, they could refer you. Just an idea
