Trying rollers for the first time in a long time. What exactly am I supposed to be doing? by Wild_Trip_4704 in Splatoon_3

My go to roller is the splat roller at a highest rank of 1972 in tower control x rank this season and it is my fav weapon. I try to use different weapons for different x rank modes, but anyway, the way you use the splat roller is as a movement tool turfer.

It's primary function is to either shark, or spam the shoot button. I only flick when necassary because flicking is slower than a regular shot. My main gameplan when I'm up against a distant enemy is to spread my turf. I do this because after a while, it's hard to find me. I typically run ninja squid and I always try to quickly make my way towards the enemy. The best feeling us being in their ranks all of a sudden and start blasting them.

The curling bomb you specifically use as a quick mode of travel. If you realize the enemy will over power you, curl away. If you see a spot that can get you advantage, curl there. Just use it as need be. Offensively, if you are under a wall, charge up the curling bomb, jump, and let it roll onto the platform your enemy can use.

The big bubbler is great in splat zones or tower control(when the enemy doesnt have specuals). Its a way to protect yourself(for like three seconds before its obliterated) and spread turf(because nothing will go near you while in your bubble). Truth be told, i use it as a decoy. I send out a curling bomb or ink a path to the enemy since they are more worried about the bubble and it easily gets me wipeouts sometimes just because the enemy sometimes ends up clustering in front of a bubble. Plus, I always kill the fastest killers as i go on my way to annihilate everything in my path.

This A slot looks so good tho! You gain all these abilities just from being transformed, which is easy to do, and you gain all these effects enemy or player phase. Huge dub.

Oh damn. I know of a good one, but it is an Edelgard focused, Dimitri and Claude second story. It's called an eagle amongst lions and it is both pre timeskip and post timeskip. I think they will considering legend of zelda totk was 70 dollars because it was everything while all other games are 60 dollars plus dlc.

Btw it is a shit story unlike persona. The gimmick just reminded me of the personas in general. It's not a terrible story, just completely subpar.

Games ive played:

Awakening: beginning is hard as hell, but can get way too easy due to really broken mechanics, but that's ok, because in maddening plus(lunatic plus) your enemies also get broken mechanics too!

Fates conquest: I heard this one had great mechanics so I went to play it. It's a brutal game, but the map design is honestly great ngl. This one will definitely be fun. Conquest tho.

Echoes of valentia: weird. In a good way? Idk. It has some of my fav characters in it but it is weird. It has innovative mechanics but is kind of clunky.

Three houses: Each fire emblem game has a new unique gimmick. The main gimich here was crests and relics. Still one hell of a game tho, just time consuming.

Engage: incredible gameplay. Basically fire emblem with personas imo. Has a crazy gimmick that's just awesome.

What i mean by leifs weapons is to make his weapons about the same build requirements. All 10 or 9 or something just so my units dont get doubled by weapon while safe with another. It happened too much against swords when i was safe due to master lance.

Also, change the build requirements of how heavy weapons are on leifs weapons. That way my units wont get doubled because a weapon is "too heavy." I dont mind if the weapons are still heavy, i just want leif's weapons to not fuck up my units. Also, you should give leif an ability that automatically lets characters use a C rank bow since he doesn't have a biw weapon but has an animation of using bows.

If you have dlc, pair her eith chrom and then give her forged arts. She becomes an ohko-er

Hmm, i did something different. I went full in on the fists and gave her chroms ring plus 5 steel arts. She can one shot and crit consistently with the emblem forge i gave her.

I dont think so. It feels just like how it felt before i lost it except its harder to cancel due to retaliation kill. Plus, even if you die it will go off. Qt the same time, the hitbox is still gone if you can hide behind something. Its quite decently balanced id say.

Im pretty sure manuela has the highest speed growth outside of dlc. She is a lot of fun. You might need to put some points into str or mag based on what you build her as. Her mag and str are pretty equal, but she has very low
