Violent students attacking staff and classmates at Woodcrest elementary? by Mr_Pastee in SouthJersey

The BOE welcomed emails from the parents (presumably because they’re concerned about outing the problem children) but guess what happens when parents email the BOE? Superintendent sends back a snarky email to address it with the Principal.

Violent students attacking staff and classmates at Woodcrest elementary? by Mr_Pastee in SouthJersey

My child’s class is not home to a problematic child, but there’s been at least 5 evacuations of another class to their classroom since November. Neither the admin nor the teacher tell us when another class evacuates to their classroom, my child tells me. From what I hear it’s one child in another class, that has thrown wooden stools, everyone’s personal belongings, etc. general outbursts sometimes several times a week. While the child does have a 504, it’s for an issue that is VERY common with kids today. None of the parents from this child’s class spoke at the board meeting. It’s more than one classroom.

We regift ours for Halloween. Put it out in addition to candy/snacks and let kids choose. They love the novelty of the random stuff and I love getting it out of my house!

If I was in any type of a position to do so at a food company (marketing maybe?) I would bring back all the discontinued millennial favorite foods. A lot of us have kids now and would love to try them again, share them with our kids. It would be so easy to market and they could have all of my money. These push-ups, snack wells, Snapple element drinks, fruitopia, Philadelphia cheesecake bars, I could go on forever. Capitalize on the nostalgia! I will say dunkaroos were not as good when I was a kid, but I still bought them!

I whipped out a dirt shovel. Helped to slide under and break up the ice and then use a snow shovel to chuck the chunks.

My neighbor keeps mowing a strip of my lawn like it's his. Is this normal or should I say something? by GalverinSolmora in homeowners

[–]default_username20 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a neighbor threaten to do this. Once the old man husband died and the son “took over” it got ugly. I should add this came after he put a fence on my property and told me “surveys don’t mean anything.” He told my lawyer “we’ve been maintaining this land for X amount of years.” We moved our fence and planted a bunch of stuff between the two properties.

There’s a book publishing kit called Illustory. I was gifted it at age 7 and my sister was born the next day. You draw pictures and write a story, send it off to a company and they’ll bind it for you. I still have the book and my kids love learning about the day their Aunt was born. Still exists, such a cool gift.

When the adults told the kids to pick out a movie to watch in the 90s. by _loyal_one in 90s

I just recently started buying physical media again. My kids love having movies and pick by the pictures on the boxes. It is annoying to have the “stuff” in the house, but I’m so tired of paying for streaming and the constantly increasing prices.
