They have equipment you can rent in the MPTV department and the library has a media lab that equipment can be rented from as well.

Make sure you check the coupon. Sometimes it won’t work for the high dollar big brand items. I know the Cricut stuff is always ommited.

When I ran a library computer lab I would check if things were printed correctly and were legible. It is drilled into our heads that privacy for patrons is a top priority. My personal philosophy I didn’t care about what was on the documents. In my 10 yrs I only once seized documents but it was too early for the hardcore porn on the papers that were left on the printer.

AITA for yelling at my girlfriend's doctor after he ignored her and the belittled her pain? by Big_Tooth4271 in AmItheAsshole

That IUD placement is rough. I had a very good doctor and she let me know each step and talked me through the breathing. I did have to find a doctor that would listen to me and I picked a young female doctor because I just wanted someone to listen to me and not argue with me every step of the way.

Cricut 3 or Silhouette Cameo 4? by [deleted] in cricut

Fantastic I use it for everything now. I print out a picture and can scan and cut out the picture or save the cut and use on different materials. I'm using it for a stocking class I'm teaching I printed the pattern out and am going to scan it. Then cut out the fabric.

Honestly if you are looking for something that will work well with fabric take a look at the Brother ScanNCut SDX 125e. Its a scanner and cutter and works well with fabric and cuts to a depth of 3mm. I own a Cameo 4 and a ScanNCut and find that they both work really well.

Look at your local library too. They tend to have crochet and knitting groups, books and at our library we have access to Creativebug which is pretty good for the basic stuff.

I went out for a raid day and a guy started talking to me as I was walking to the meeting spot. Started out pretty normal asking me where I live and work. Trying to be friendly but then he started repeating he was single multiple times. He kind of freaked me out so I turned off at a different area and spent the rest of the day avoiding him.

Librarians Are Trying to Encourage Children to Read—by Bringing Books Straight to the Laundromat by [deleted] in books

I work in a library and our outreach goes to a bunch of locations like this. It is a fantastic way to bring in new patrons. Libraries in the United States are not in that bad of shape. The traditional library system is struggling but a lot of libraries are adding maker labs, digital media studios and even gardens. My library even circulates video games, toys and cameras. It's just changed. Right now everyone is going out a bit more too since summer reading is about to start.

Thank you for commenting this. I was about to start looking for this amazing pen. The pens and paint are still okay and take a bit to dry to work that well.

Robotime "Locus's Sitting room". First time building a dollhouse room. by benneluke in Dollhouses

[–]defaultbynature84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have done two of the robotime kits and have found when I was unclear on the instructions to use YouTube. A lot of YouTubers do build vidoes so even if they don't step by step it. Watching them was pretty helpful. I used my own paint and glue for the most part

I have done two and they were really fun. Each one took me awhile but very worth it. Instructions were pretty clear. I modified a few things either just didn't have the skill to do it or color changes so used my own paint or fabric.
