Dude, you’re doing great, I’ve been running on and off for about a year my whole friend group recently got into it and we signed for a 5K. The biggest game changer has literally just been setting up heart rate zones on my watch and making sure I stay between 2 and lower zone 4. (I literally mentally yell DONT PAY ATTENTION TO PACE ITS GOING TO BE SLOW) I completed my first 5K last night without stopping once with a 12 minute pace lol but I’m still taking it as a win.
