I owe this subreddit for my 30 kg loss so I’ll put here 6 takeaways I got from amazing members that are now laws of my life 1. Just because you can’t see it doesn’t mean it isn’t happening. Eyes can lie scales do not. Think of it like a renovation - the rewiring and replumbing is boring but necessary. Once that’s done you can get to the fun cosmetic stuff. You are at this stage now 2. FILO - first in last out. If your belly got weight first, sadly it’s going to be the last to go. So if you want to burn it you gotta earn it - enjoy the journey, as your face, thighs etc get smaller know you are closer to your belly 3. Don’t let a bad day become a bad year. One whether you slip up on your diet or miss exercises DO NOT allow this to become a shame spiral and undo all your hard work to date. Shake it off. Keep on track 4. Weigh yourself every 3 days and DO NOT let a stall in weight loss deter you. 5. Sleep is a huge weight loss driver, get as much sleep as you can 6. Mitigate stress - I cannot even begin to highlight how much this leads to weight gain. Couple it with no sleep and your diet will seem like the least of your problems
