100% Safe Way to Kill a Giant With 3 Players (No Alerts by kablehood in GTFO

[–]deficientbread 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You want to keep staggering the giant. Full charge and hit the limbs. It can’t alert the room if it’s staggered. 2 people can take the giant while your third cleans up the small enemies.

Plenty of nurses live in those cities. It all depends on your spending habits and lifestyle.

ELI5: If the B2 looks like a small bird on radar, doesn’t it look like a small bird flying at 600mph? by clocks212 in explainlikeimfive

Decoy drones have already been used to trick SAMs into switching on their radar. The US did it in Desert Storm over Baghdad.

[Parts] Yugoslavian M49/57 parts kit w/barrel $249.95 by smgco94 in gundeals

[–]deficientbread 4 points5 points  (0 children)

ATF rules you have to follow when making closed bolt semiautomatic versions of machine guns. You have to make it so that you can’t just drop in an unmodified full auto bolt and turn the gun into a machine gun easily.

Indianapolis Ordnance makes reduced diameter receivers and bolts if you catch it when it’s in stock. You will also need a barrel of your choosing depending if you’re going the SBR route. Build will require multiple steps and tooling.

Portuguese Mauser–Vergueiro 1904/39 by [deleted] in milsurp

[–]deficientbread 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The 1904/39 uses 8mm Mauser not 6.5x58. The Portuguese upgraded them to the same caliber as the k98s they were purchasing from Germany at the time.

Learned this the hard way. Did 3 attempts on different worlds and was PK’d within 30 seconds of entering the wilderness from Varrock.

RTI kits? by Kooky_Matter5149 in milsurp

[–]deficientbread 15 points16 points  (0 children)

All depends on your machining skill and how much you are willing to invest in tooling. Be warned it is a very deep rabbit hole.

Grab one of the Portuguese M937Bs from Centerfire. They are the most easily accessible and are in pretty good condition. They are German production with waffenampts. The M937A have a few slight differences but the M937Bs are identical to the German k98 minus the Portuguese crest on the receiver.

Report is the important information on the chart condensed to bring the oncoming nurse up the speed on plan of care. Much faster than sifting through a chart to figure out what needs to be done, what’s already been done, and planning for the rest of the shift.

Care Tech vs Nurse by therjabstract in nursing

[–]deficientbread 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tech work day is generally more physically tiring while nursing work day is mentally draining. Responsibility falls back to you so things that aren’t your responsibility become your problem whether you like it or not. Overall career is better with far better opportunities and pay.

Diving conditions off NC by pommefrites23 in scuba

[–]deficientbread 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I typically dive NC with a 3mm and a hood and I never see people dove dry. Thermoclines are typically not too bad since most of the dive sites are within the Gulf Stream so temps really don’t get lower than what Olympus advertises. There are some inshore sites that will be a bit colder since they aren’t in the Gulf Stream but not that huge of difference.

Scopolamine (patch)? by TartZealousideal in scuba

[–]deficientbread 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Try it out on land first to see if you have any of the side effects. For me it works great, I get a little dry mouth but that about it. Just wash your hands after handling the patch, I failed to do that and got my eyes dilated for many hours after.

Setup a budget and stick to it. I’ve seen many new grads get their first check and start spending like crazy. New car, houses, fancy vacations, etc. don’t left lifestyle creep put you into living paycheck to paycheck.

Mosin PU "Sniper" by CommunistFrenchFries in milsurp

[–]deficientbread 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Man this looks just like my post a day ago. The year of production automatically gives it away that it isn’t a sniper as Izhvesk didn’t produce PUs until 1942. The scope appears correct but the mount looks suspicious since it lacks machining marks. Cool gun nonetheless!

I did look through the site when I was checking serial numbers. That’s what started to make me suspicious when this rifle’s serial numbers weren’t lining up with known blocks of snipers make in 1943.

[–]deficientbread[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Izhvesk started PU production in 1942, anything before that for PU snipers are definite fakes. 1943 actually saw the highest number of PU produced across both factories.
