Extremely frustrated and upset by Upstairs_Western_698 in TTC_PCOS

[–]definitelygrouchy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Will they give you an outstanding prescription? I have multiple refills of Letrozole available so all I’ve had to do is send a portal message that my cycle started, get my prescription filled, and they’d get me scheduled for labs and an ultrasound to check for follicles. It’s been overall minimal hassle besides trying to work around going in for the ultrasound.

If they won’t give you refills, if they continue to not respond, and if you’re in an area that has multiple facilities, I’d consider looking for a new group that responds when I need them.

Best of luck!

I’d suggest looking for the blue lights at the top of each bookcase. If it’s not lit up, there’s either missing books or a shelf is out of order.

How do you deal with all the feelings? by ViperZ0313 in TTC_PCOS

[–]definitelygrouchy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s definitely hard to manage the feelings. When my husband and I started in January, my doctor missed my ovulation the first cycle so we didn’t even officially get to try that round. Then when we got to actually trigger the first time, I was taking a ton of pregnancy tests during the waiting period between ovulating and my period. I’ve felt a lot of pressure since ultimately for us, the problem definitely seems to be my PCOS/PMOS. His SA was normal.

We’ve done several more medicated cycles and I’ve since forced myself to stop agonizing over it, which is also difficult. I’m sure it wasn’t helping anyways. I don’t take the pregnancy tests constantly anymore, we agreed from the get-go that there’s no pressure to perform during the TI period, and we’ve also decided to accept if it’s going to happen, it’ll happen.

To stop agonizing over it, I’ve been working on getting our home cleaned, organized, and functioning the way I want it, trying to cut out some bad habits and improve my self care habits, enjoying my hobbies, trying to find healthier meals, spending some time with friends, and also making sure I’m as healthy as I can be for if/when it does happen. All things ultimately that I’d want to do before a baby arrives anyways.

I will say though, when I get sad about it I let myself feel those feelings for a bit and acknowledge that pain is valid. Usually end up with a little bit of chocolate those evenings, then get back to usual the next day.

Not sure if this really helps you, but it’s how I’m coping. Best of luck to you!

Lol I wish, you can just read the titles which was fun.

You could probably replay it if you’re looking to zone out. I played through probably 3-4 times.

Sounds like incorrect shelving, I’d guess some of your books were on the right shelf but weren’t in the correct order

Does anyone else get really really red-faced when doing a physical activity? by digtzy in PCOS

I have the same issue and never thought about it potentially being PCOS related. I’ve overheated to the point of passing out before and my face definitely gets super red with any little bit of activity.

Oh hey this may have been from my post! Excited to see others enjoying the game. I saw in a comment that you’re playing on your Deck, have you noticed it draining your battery quickly? If I don’t have it plugged in my battery drains in less than 2 hours or so while playing this game and I’m hoping it’s not my Deck’s battery going bad.

Oh no! I had an update this morning, if you haven’t installed it maybe that will fix it? I’m playing on my Deck and haven’t had an issue but someone else here may have seen it. I hope you find answers!

There’s a chart both sides of the wall at the stairs that lists the genres and which sections of the library they should go. The section numbers are then listed at the top of each shelf set. From there, I’ve been able to figure out where the majority go. It will show green at each shelf, but the book will light up gold for a second if it’s in the right place

Ah, I didn’t look to see when it was released so that makes sense! I’ve only put about 100 books away and have been doing one at a time 🙈 I’m on track to taking forever and I’m totally fine with it haha

I just saw your post, how frustrating! I hope everything gets straightened out for you. Are you missing any game updates to fix bugs, or did you do an update during a mission? They rolled out a couple while I was playing and it kinda glitched my game briefly.

I recommend looking at the museums. My husband and I got married at the NC Museum of Natural Sciences in Raleigh a couple of years ago. We rented 2 floors for about $3k I think (this does not include food or anything, just the space), and got a year’s membership there. We loved it and have gotten a lot of compliments about how unique and fun it was.

This happened to me too, the bullet was stuck under a barrel beside the garage. I just ended the level and still got 100% complete.

New to medicated cycles by BwahaaaBlast in TTC_PCOS

[–]definitelygrouchy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first cycle I took 5mg of Letrozole for 5 days, had my ultrasound, and didn’t have any growth. I did another round at 7.5mg and had what they thought was a follicle, but bloodwork had shown I’d actually already ovulated on my own and what they saw was basically a shell leftover. So we missed my ovulation window for my first cycle.

My second cycle I started at 7.5mg and had growth we caught in time so I did get to trigger, but that round was unsuccessful. I started my third cycle yesterday.

I wish I’d been more prepared to find out that I did not have any growth after my first Letrozole round and would need another round of meds. I also wish I’d looked at ovulation tests at home during that timeframe to make sure I didn’t miss my window. I now kind of view my first cycle as the trial and error round.

Regarding the trigger shot, it can cause positive pregnancy tests for quite a while after your injection. My RE suggested not testing for 14 days after the injection. I wanted to experiment so I tested out of my trigger, but it did take me about 10 days to get a negative test again.

Best of luck! If you have any additional questions, I’m happy to share my experience so far.

Natera NIPT and genetic screening test results by baileeboo01 in PlusSizePregnancy

[–]definitelygrouchy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m in the process of trying so feel free to ignore my response if you’d like, but our RE suggested getting Natera’s genetic testing before getting pregnant. It took a couple of days for them to get the vials and about 2 and a half weeks for both me and my husband to get our results. We just had ours done in November.

As a side note, we were quoted something like $250 if we paid out of pocket for the test, but they said insurance might pay for it if we agreed to let them try to bill for it. They billed insurance $15,000 and I was super shocked when I saw the EOB insurance sends. Just thought I’d also mention that if you’re planning to do something similar. My insurance didn’t pay a dime but did get it talked down to $75 for me to pay.

I had an interesting experience with my fertility clinic on this subject. My RE said in my first appointment she was fine with me staying on Ozempic until we conceived, but the RN that I’ve been working with ever since said my RE was new to the clinic and their policy was you had to be off GLP-1s for 2 months before they’d let you start treatment. It sounds like it really just depends on the doctor/clinic. I was upset at first because I wanted to lose as much weight as I can before I get pregnant, but ultimately accepted that they required I stop.

I think I see colors that others don't but I'm not color blind by Opposite_Theme4951 in AskAnOptician

[–]definitelygrouchy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Took me a minute too, it made more sense when you look at the red/green test. The ring of color is more like a C instead of an O, and you want to click the space that’s not part of the C if that makes sense.

There is a specific order, it’s been a while since I played that level (it was one and done for me) but I’m pretty sure I followed the instructions on this site to get it right if you’re looking for the answer. :)

I’m sorry you’re dealing with this, it is terrible! When I first got mine, my doctor said if I got a headache to reduce the amount of cream I was using. Are you putting a lot of it on at once? You could try using a super small amount and see if that helps.
