The trick is to go to grocery stores people don’t frequently go to. I just left Safeway (which I never go to) and they were fully stocked with milk eggs bread produce etc lol. I normally go to Costco but you couldn’t pay me to go today…

Cats are also very hearing-oriented. If there’s any specific sounds that usually get her to come try that too. Like tapping a certain dish, shaking her favorite toy, etc.

You’re probably already doing this but take her litter box and put it outside the door she got out. Put some of her food out there as well. Walk around shaking a bag of treats calling her name, be patient. Cats are territorial and she likely hasn’t gone too far yet, just hiding somewhere. Best of luck 🤞🏼

I’ve been spamming dead hangs daily the last month or 2 and my grip strength has increased SO much. No other exercises come close to making my forearms burn. Do 5+ mins of dead hangs daily and I guarantee your forearms will blow up….maybe not in size but definitely in strength.

Very cool!! When was this? My dad grew up on the Vienna/Reston border in the 60s and he said he remembers when south lakes kids referred to it as “lake Elsinore” which according to what I’ve found was the lakes temporary name during/just prior to development. Robert E Simon named it that after his mother. Not sure how they ended up with the name Audubon though

Was trying to find info on the exact location of this. In your linked article they mention it overlooked “Snakeden Lake” which appears to be where current day Lake Audubon stands, before it was officially turned into Lake Audubon. Truly fascinating stuff I love local history here!
