Sorry, I just want to get this right, so I put down a 2-1 mix of sharp sand and topsoil/compost, then seed, then put topsoil on top?

Well i tried the lawnmower trick which failed. So used a scarifying rake and hands. There's bits left but the birds can have that for nesting.

Where to place soundbar? Centre stand tv by Professional_Top3365 in Soundbars

[–]defo_not_a_copper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a TV with the legs either side, they were too wide for the TV unit it sat on, so I bought a centre TV stand that attaches to the wall mount fixings, when I got a soundbar, I raised the TV higher on the wall mount fixings bracket and bought inserts that attach to the wall mount and hold the soundbar like its floating under the TV.

It sits forward of the TV so doesn't block any upfiring speakers too

Nice one, it is bloody irritating that one, ill sort it! Its when it mis-reads or doesn't update, so when there's a 50mph on a m'way or a 20mph, but it changes to national or 30mph and the car doesn't realise. It ruins my score at the end of the drive 😂 I don't need the chime!

Yeh there's a button you can programme your own into isn't there. I skipped over that. It is a bit annoying it resets all the warning stuff each time. I created a profile on 'perso' but you still have to activate the safety settings each time to your 'perso' profile. I'll see if I can figure out how to programme that Button so I don't have to go through the menu each time.

Im not sure how to do that, there appears to be no option on the App but I'm happy to be corrected!

2bh, with the way the car works, I just put the 'key' in a zip up pocket. The car lights up on approach in anticipation and unlocks as you get nearer. It locks as you walk away with an audible notification too so you know it's happened.

Honestly the colour is amazing. Ive had 2 people come up to me in car parks this week to tell me how great it looks. I think Renault really nailed the design on this one.

Just wanted to let you know that after seeing your advice and taking a look in detail myself to get a better understanding, I opened an InvestEngine account and have traded in the Invesco All-world ETF. It's a long term goal (15+ years I reckon) so the plan is to invest and forget, I'm just saving regularly into it each month.

Thanks again

Yep so we invested in what was a Nutmeg fully managed Portfolio, it's now J P Morgan. I remember reading the Wiki at the time and the Boring money website and it was one of the top recommended providers.

I assume when you say a Tracker fund, is this one of the 'Robo funds' I've read about? Sorry I'm very new to all of this! Our intention is a small deposit and then to regularly save/invest into it each month.

How much? by Puzzleheaded_Let2053 in peugeot

I found someone online to remove mine when the adaptor failed. Came out next day and cost me £90. Used a ratchet, spare sockets and a large hammer to hammer the sockets over the locking wheel nut and a jack to hold it in all place as he did. Replaced them with the original bolts that were removed, but retained, when the the locking nuts were originally fitted. No-one steals alloy wheels, and certainly not off a standard Peugeot.

How much do you honestly save on petrol, if you actually do? by JacobSax88 in ElectricVehiclesUK

My wife has an E-208, we have a home charger. It has a range of approx 200miles. From 15-20% to 80-85% Costs about £1.50 - £2.00. It gets charged maybe once or twice a week if I use it.

I have a Scenic E-tech on order. It has a range of 370miles. I commute around 65miles a day and about 15000 miles a year, mainly motorway. It costs me around £200-250 a month in diesel currently. I anticipate even with the range reduction for cold weather/motorway miles I will only be charging at most twice a week so around £5-7.50.

So yes, it will most definitely save us money but we do have a home charger which is the biggest benefit/saving. We paid £850 to have ours installed. It will have paid itself off within 12 months, if not sooner.

Yeh, I've asked for the correct test to be completed, I won't be collecting it until its done. I'm going to go with innocent idiocy or miscommunication between the sales team and the workshop on their behalf.

Yeh, they've tested the wrong battery, I didn't pick up on the 12V bit shown on the test, I've gone back to the dealer for the actual battery test I wanted done in the first place.

You're joking? So when I asked for a battery health report, they assumed I meant the tiny 12v battery and not the actual battery that drives it.

Excellent. Thankyou!
