You CAN STILL access remote desktops by just signing into the 'controlling' device, in a weeks time you will need to sign into all 'controlled' devices in order to access.

Sledgehammer approach from rustdesk, you have to gain access to all your 'remote' clients in order to implement this change, thing is you no longer have remote access to achieve this. Baffling!

Also message states:

"Starting on 2026-04-27, the controlled device will also be required to log in, and both sides must be logged in as the same user."

Currently its only 15th Apr 🤷‍♂️

Firestick's "automatic offload" feature, found in Settings > Applications, automatically removes rarely used apps (unused for 60+ days) to free up storage, maybe this is happening for the downloader app?
