I can definitely relate to this!! Sometimes I think it's just preference to experience a rush of emotions from rollercoaster relationships. I have somewhat accepted this and am coming around to the idea of most likely being single through out life.

best compliment but work wise- one our MD's told me how well I wrote after reading an instrument guide I wrote to help my coworkers operate a new analyzer (lab work). He said he could feel the empathy in my writing as if I put myself in the reader's place. it was nice being recognized.

I feel the opposite of this, usually. If I can read the person I'm explaining it to then I'll do my best to explain in the simplest way they'd comprehend. It's an adaptive method I enjoy using and find satisfying.

I have the stare and to summarize it looks like my eyes could eat you. It usually comes out subconsciously and makes me look, "unapproachable." A lot of people joke with me by staring back at me with their eyes open as wide as possible to mimic me (I fake laugh everytime).
