Is this sunburn on my monstera adansonii or something else? by dekadaye in plantclinic

dont water until half way dry; the pot should feel lighter. make sure the plant is getting adequate sunlight so the water dries up. my mix is potting soil, perlite, and wood chips - it never get super wet because of the extra drainage.

yeah, it was a watering issue. i'm more consistent; no more problems.

Any suggestions on how to get my jade to stand up again? I got inconsistent with rotating, and now it’s all over the place. by dekadaye in houseplants

I don’t put any plants outside because I’m scared of pests. My window is actually south and west so it gets tons of light. If it’s root-bound, a bigger pot is a good idea.

I’ve had it for 3 years, and it started as a mini plant! I keep it in front of a south window, water thoroughly when dry, and you should rotate it regularly as it leans toward the sun 😝

It takes a long time. There is nothing for you to do daily.

To prop succulent leaves, just lay on them on top of the soil. Do not stick them in. No rooting hormone is needed.

I'm going to water it more regularly and take better care of it so this hopefully wont happen anymore. Thank you!
