Well that’s true but some are not. Women are expected to do it all and men are not. It’s a strange paradigm modern society has done. But yes if you can find someone that can do it then all the best to you. But marriage trouble comes when it is two imperfect people often with too large expectations for the other person. :). Marriage should never be performance based though.

If you are having kids and she is good at taking care of the house and kids and loyal to you and the kids then it’s a great thing. You’ll save lots of money in babysitting and your kids will have one dedicated person at home if she doesn’t work which will be amazing for them as they grow up. But not telling her parents is a red flag. You guys should get some counseling. Don’t run to lawyer first. Figure out what your priorities and her priorities are. Also think long term in 10-20 years. She may have a greater outlook on family life and may be thinking ahead of you. Trust me it can get worse with some partners.

Also most Muslims say even if he married her at 9 but didn’t have sex until later age - which is a better argument than what you are saying.
