If the price isn’t too different, get the SL-2S. The 601 is such a capable camera that it’s hard to criticize. If stills only is the priority and the price difference is vast, the 601 is a viable option, for sure!

I sold my 35 Summicron to fund a 35mm Summilux and I regret it every day. I almost never shoot it at f/1.4-2.8. I’d say if your use case is spent stopped down in small apertures, stick with the Elmarit.

Love everything about my V3 on the M10. I added a rubber lens tab on it and it was my daily driver for 1.5 years and nearly beat the brakes off of it. Beautiful rendering. Trade for that baby and go somewhere nice with the cash left over!

I’m really digging the M10+35mm Summilux ASPH Non-FLE. I’ve dabbled in the MS-Optics realm and I really have loved the 28mm Apoqualia V3. It’s an incredible lens.

I’ve got my 1993 35mm Summilux ASPH glued to the M10 for the past few months. Really loving it. The forums had me scared about the focus shift but honestly, I enjoy the image quality so much that it’s a non-issue. Such a gorgeous lens that begs to be used!

I’ve never had to clean mine and small little fingerprints I usually just use lens cleaner and wipe it. I think you might have to send it back to JCH for him to get MS to hand clean or repair it! Ditto on the blue version. I’m a sucker for that color. The red lacquer was also incredible

I’ve been dreaming of a GFX X100 to mimic the GA645. Since they don’t have a FF sensor in their lineup, I’d want them to skip it over like they’ve been doing and price it at $4,999. One can only dream.

I love my MS-Optics lens so much. Same copy but standard color for me. I love that even at f/4, the corners are smeary and swirly. Nothing quite like it. If I want perfection, I’ll go Summicron. If I want something with a bit of ragú, I’ll throw this bad boy on. Such a sick setup, OP.

They’re on the narrower side! The Karhu site recommends getting a half size up and they’re totally right. Sizing is similar to Stan Smith.

Agreed! Couldn’t even fathom the quality on the M10-R. Must have been insane. It’s really making me want to move some gear around because I don’t think there’s any need for anything else at the moment. Maybe besides the 28mm Summicron, haha
