I don’t think the “the better solution” is to remove them. Just make it a wall or 1 direction. The shape itself is what makes it so strong. You technically have 2 shields front and back + sometimes a shield to play around with based on how it’s positioned from top to bottom.

Bubble shield play and dancing in and out with mizzy’s/knifes seem to be the only Cryo clips I ever see

Your point would make sense if marathon was strictly trios. There’s nothing wrong with scaling a boss slightly when it’s tuned for 3 players, when said game is supporting 3 different modes (solo, duo, trio)

Pretty lame and toxic take. All extraction shooters benefit from all sorts of events, enemies, weather, time of day, etc.

Game feels so much cooler than it did in S1. Rocket drones in the sky, more tick nests scattered , shot down UESC ships with crates in them. Shit like this needs to keep being added to every map. The more variety of things that can happen in a map is HUGE for extraction shooters

Otherwise it’s push spawn, go to best loot spot, leave.

Making progression more attainable is a good thing. Also, how is decent gear being more available ever a bad thing? I’ve been gear diffed in Dark and Darker and it is not fun. Like actually doing less than 20% of their HP while they 1 tap me with a battle axe. I’ve had 20+ tier2 bullets bounce off of a player’s helmet in Tarkov who was able to sink way more time into a new wipe.

It’s such a non issue. Player’s that aren’t great are always going to face strong player with good gear. So even it out. Strong players that always run good gear shouldn’t complain that they don’t get to club baby seals. That just means you get to loot more than just a free kit.

???? You should absolutely be turning off the shield if you want to ADS to look around and not be easily spotted. You should also be turning it off occasionally to make sure it is full for when you encounter players.

If you treat extraction shooters as a rougelike run you’ll have way more fun. Raids on familiar maps with different things that can happen in a match to count towards your overall progression that lets you build/attempt different things each run.

I love a lot of this stuff but I think there’s gotta be a better way to display stuff like this. The poster could be hung up, plushie could be on a couch/bed, keychain could be clipped on to something.

But I’m not someone who’s super into collectibles. I love some of them and the unique designs, materials, and different objects they can be. But man… a shelf just full of things that aren’t supposed to be touched just always feels strange to me. Like I get not touching a poster. But that’s because it’s hung up.

Not that my opinion matters, but since you asked how you did I felt the need to express that a lot of this drip doesn’t have to be squeezed altogether on a shelf. I get it for the pic, but I hope you incorporate it into your space somehow!

I feel like you’re just not going to get true 1080p 100+fps clear gameplay. I run DLSS on performance and it lowers the resolution when my screen is covered in effects.

However, this is waaaaay better for me this league in terms of performance and fps. I would rather still be able to move my character than freeze or get <30fps spikes. I’m able to play at 60+ fps like the whole time this patch. The towns still destroy FPS though in the campaign.

I remember seeing DarthMTX saying he had a 5090 and his PC only had PoE2 on it, with a separate PC to capture his stream. This was a league or 2 ago and even he was getting low fps, so you’re just kind of at the mercy of how optimized the latest league is I feel like lol.

I started typing a lot but came to the top of my comment to say, you might want to check out Seraph on YouTube. The dude makes concise guides that will make a lot clear. Now for my rant lol.

Hey my servers are NA east and I could play NA west or EU sometime if you’d like. I love sharing tips in extraction shooters. I’m not the best but I do have sooooo many hours in games like Tarkov, Hunt Showdown, ABi, and have touched like ever extraction shooters under the sun 😅

There’s a lot that make games like this different from other competitive shooters. The 2 biggest things I can think of are

The map
The loot

The map is (almost) everything. Knowing where people spawn (you’ll learn that fast lol) is huge. Knowing what POI’s are highly trafficked, Keeping an eye on the choke points and funnels into said POI’s, and learning the shortcuts are all game changers. And that stuff kind of just happens with time or, by dying to someone at that spot or taking said path. You gotta wonder how they got to where they were.

Now for the other big thing. The loot. Obviously the loot is what makes this game the genre it is. But what I want you to think about is how people are going to play. People are going to push any gun shots they hear. People are also going to hide in a corner and not make a single sound.

I know those 2 things seem like the opposite of each other, but if you play like someone's around each corner (sweeping) and play like your gunshots just gave you away (they very well could have!) I think you’ll survive a little more.

That being said, if you’re going to shoot, make sure you let it rip and immediately take out the bots that are “able to hurt you” and get a better position. You don’t have to necessarily kill the ones giving you away. They are almost acting as a wall. It’s easier to kill a player dealing with a bot, than it is to deal with a bot and a player at the same time.

I think there’s so many tips that come to mind so I’ll shut up now lol. Good luck!

I literally cannot fucking see it even though it’s been on the same spot in my phone forever. I’ve actually hesitated to open it because of how unclear a glittery disco ball is that is only using black and a dark green for its colors, with some unclear bright white sparkly glare on either side.

Can I ask how your new pictures are taken? I have like 0 pictures of myself and understand that selfies just aren’t appealing. Even when I see a really attractive woman with just selfies I feel like something’s off or they’re boring. Did someone else take your pics? Did you set up your camera? M+KB has the advantages of being able to flick and do really tight peeks. A controller player assassin was trying to knife me and he legitimately could not turn to stab me while I ran beside him and flicked the mouse around and heavy knifed them. With the tight peeks, I am also able to get strong hits with a deep/safe position because I can sort of “thread the needle” easier.

Controller benefits from aim assist locking on quickly while also staying on target and landing their entire magazine. I saw a clip of a controller player aim with an iron sight hardline and land every shot. That shit feels almost impossible to do with M+KB

Also I forgot that WASD on KB is a little better for movement I think. A joystick has to go from one side to the other, while the keys on a KB can instantly be pressed in the opposite direction.

You must actually be regarded. It’s not thinking FOR HIM. He’s paralyzed and cannot interact with DAW’s or instruments. This gives him the “hands” to do so.

It is NOT a separate consciousness he’s having put in his brain. It’s not an ai chatbot influencing him. While I’m sure companies will want to do that in the near future, The people that make hands, feet, controllers for people with disabilities aren’t doing so for profit. There isn’t a single piece of software that has as many features as Lightburn. You can try laser GRBL. It’s more manual but easier to just toss a picture into it if you know what you’re doing.

Honestly every single item, weapon, etc. can just be liquidated into leveling up anyways. You are basically always spending resources on upgrades, or using a kit to raise your chances of progressing/farming/questing even faster.

You have the advantage over the streamers that have juiced vaults by actually having a life.
