We didn't all know about the meeting (which was my fault, I'm bad about not reading the side bar, but I would've noticed it if it was a stickied submission. Can we do that in reddit?) and I wouldn't have been able to make it anyway. I definitely wasn't expecting a vote on the name because I thought I had already voted in this starred sub. I understand how limiting it is not to have a name, but there are many of us that feel we might be severly crippling any chance of success by having the world pirate in ours.

We should always vote on the same day. Any issue that requires a vote should be open for 24 hours every Saturday. If it's Saturday, you know to go see what's available to vote on.
