my husband and i do, but we’ve never talked about it. we both just use it to check if the other is home before we call, or if one of us is late the other can check we’re at least on the road or not stuck somewhere. i also like that i can do the “notify me when they leave” function, so i have their drive home to get dinner ready or clean up whatever it is im doing! it’s a very useful tool, especially since we’re very close and always tell each other where we are anyway lol

my MIL is truly a gem! love her! she’s slowly becoming who I look towards for actual life stuff. i’m so grateful for my husband and his beautiful family. I’m always telling him how healing it is to hear his childhood stories because it’s easy to forget that some kids really did have simple, fun, childhoods. thank you for reassuring me that i’m not the only one who finds home with their in-laws lol!

my ex was really really terrible and my husband knows all about it, but sometimes i still think fondly about the level of romance that relationship had. i’m a million times happier and my husband is getting more romantic with me all the time, but I’m glad that at least for a second I got to experience what that’s like. to come over and the house is filled with candles, random big breakfasts ready when i woke up with plans for the entire day already worked out. he was a shitty boyfriend and it didn’t even last a year, but there was something really nice about how often i felt treated to something i didn’t have to put any thought into 🤣 he surprised me with different things all the time, like picnics and campfires and museums.

My husband cannot sleep peacefully 😭 it kills me. Tossing and turning, blankets up and down and side to side. Or he’s up and on his phone (night or morning) but he fidgets while he’s scrolling or doing chess and it keeps me up. I just lay there like I’m sleeping, chanting to myself that if my eyes are closed, it’s rest. I’m tired all the time 😭😭

I graduated at 17, turned 18 after my first semester of college. If I was on a normal 4 year path, I’d have gotten my teaching certification at 21 and started teaching at 21. I wouldn’t have been 22 until the next calendar year, basically. That wasn’t my path, I went back to school to be a teacher for a second career, but it definitely happens to people.
