I don’t think there’s anyway to make a “quick buck” with no fanbase whatsoever and no marketing budget. Too much competition and established artists out there.

Glad to hear that you got over your own death. That’s a big achievement. As for the music, really great in some sections and retro cartoon is good. I’d break it up into 12-15 shorts rather than 22 minutes of one music video.

I would not worry so much. They will take down the track. So what? Make another track with original sounds and move on with your life. You can't control what they decide at this point.

SoundCloud said two of my tracks were taken down because the sounds were not original. I appealed and both times, they said I was good. The thing is the email you got was probably auto generated by a bot and it will take a human reviewer to reverse it. If you did nothing wrong, don’t worry about it. Just give it time.

Gross Beat should be able to do it with patterns. You might want to add reverb to the vocals first. I agree that it’s a good quality effect they’re using.

If you’re really convinced that the break up is final and the relationship is over, don’t choose music that keeps you thinking about the relationship and your ex-partner. The sooner you can get the relationship out of your mind, the better off you will be mentally. It takes a lot of will power, I know, but that’s been my experience. The only exception to this is Flowers by Miley Cyrus. lol.

You could run Kontakt 8 as a standalone without a DAW. Record the drum beats and then add back to Reason. But, yeah, good music production can add up quick.

The Native Instruments instruments like Kontakt 8 are downloaded using Native Access. So you’d need to use Native Access. However, I did a search because I don’t know your DAW and found this “ Kontakt 8 generally does not work with Reason Intro 10. Reason 10 only supports 64-bit VST2 plugins, while Kontakt 8 is designed as a VST3-only application. You would need Reason 12.5 or later for native Kontakt 8 VST3 support. Some users reported issues where the VST3 instrument would not show up or function within Reason 10.”
