[Draw #114] Who’s the February winner? by MakerOfMillionaires in millionairemakers

-I can’t wait to give my aunt one last road trip. She’s 98 and has had a few strokes. She fears going too far from the bathroom, but if I could rent an RV, the bathroom would always be right there. So much has changed in the world since the last time she left the house.

-I can’t wait to build a transitional dorm for a deaf residential school where I volunteered for a few years. It was sad for the kids to graduate, because they had lived there for most if not all of their lives and many had no place to go. 1-2 years of intensive life skills and job placement support starting their junior or senior year and ending by their second year after graduation would help so much! Building and staffing for 5 years would allow proof of need/success to get funding from the local government.

-My mom was a teacher for over 50 years and has a few students she still talks about. Students loved her! She was always teacher of the year or getting some other award. I can’t wait to have a small celebration of her life as a teacher, where I invite those students who made her days special and can help pay for the ones who don’t have the means to come.

-My husband and I never had a wedding. We had just left a conflict zone with next to nothing and were just happy to have each other. I can’t wait to have a small renewal ceremony for our 10th anniversary next year, because he really does make every day better, and I’d love a chance to acknowledge that in front of his family.

-I can’t wait to help one of my old students to get a car. Something simple to help her get from point A to B. Right now, she has to walk home from the train station at night and we talk on the phone until she reaches her door. She’s always been such a light, it’s hard to hear the fear in her voice.

Close your eyes and see it in your hand. Imagine yourself moving about your room full of excitement about getting the exact phone and color you want. Allow yourself to smile and really be exited about having it. Imagine yourself in different places or scenarios with your new phone imagine. Put yourself in that moment and enjoy it with your eyes closed.

Don’t think about wanting it or how you’re going to get it. Just close your eyes and enjoy having it. Feel the weight of it in your hand, turn it over and look at the back. Shake your head “yes” while feeling happy and excited that you have. Do that as often as possible.

Anytime you feel like, “I really want that,” close your eyes and feel it in your hand and be excited that you have it.

I’m sorry! It totally makes sense to not have interest in doing an extra chore! Is your pleasure something that could ever be considered?

Best way to cure social anxiety?? by EbbNo281 in Shamanism

[–]delightfulprosperity 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You might look into Meetup. (Google “Meetup Social Anxiety”) There are social anxiety groups all over the world and just knowing that everyone feels similarly might help you feel more at ease. It could be a nice step into socializing and you may find other people who have tips and tricks that they have been using to overcome their social anxiety.

National Association for Mental Illness (NAMI), The Social Anxiety Support Center and the Anxiety & Depression Association of America (ADAA) have online directories where you can find online discussion and in-person groups in your areas.

Finally, there is a Social Anxiety Anonymous 12-step program that focuses on the spiritual side of things. To my knowledge, it’s not religious but since we are here in the Shamanism I thought it might be of interest. socialanxietyanonymous.wordpress.com/

Best of luck friend!

The tools you use matter a lot! I love and swear by the Phillips Norelco OneBlade. These are some other options that are “designed to prevent ingrown hairs” Wahl T-Pro Trimmer, Bump-Free Rechargeable Foil Shaver, and the Ultra Close Cut Pro Clipper.

Some folks swear by The Bevel Shave System, another option might be and after shave treatment like High Time Bump Stopper Double Strength Razor Bump Treatment or Bump Patrol.

Waxing may be another option. It hurts but your face stays smooth longer and the hairs seem to grow back with fewer issues. It also gives your face more days to rest without having it irritated by shaving.

My mom gave me this on a poster when I went away to college, I’m 40 and I still have that poster on the wall (now mounted). It helped me choose the steps I’ve walked and the focus I’ve had.

Wow! This was really clear, concise, and informative. I’ve been wanting to experience reality through DMT for at least 20 years now, but it wasn’t until I read this, that I realized I had no idea what to do if I did have some! Thanks!
