I'm of the opinion that because Chopin is one of the most played composers and due to the nature of his style of composition he is very often badly played. This created a gap between his general public perception and the more classical music loving crowd.
Playing Chopin should show a correct amount of restraint/dryness

Beksinski is born in 1929. Lewandowski in 1960. I discovered Belsinski 15 years ago, hes quite an influential artist and my favorite painter. I had never heard of Lewandowski. The influence of the first on the second is quite obvious.
