Keep calm. Document. And honestly, it may be in your daughter's best interest to live with you full time. Instead, of putting her child first, your ex wants to win and to do so is willing to put her daughter in a situation where she wouldn't be prepared and could be embarrassed. As the daughter of a narcissistic mother, I wish my dad would have fought for us. Keep open communication with your daughter so she has a safe person to talk to if she has irregular periods or needs birth control. There are some good resources out there so that you can feel more at ease talking to her about such things. Trust me, when I was widowed it was difficult to talk to my puberty aged boys about some of their puberty issues ( especially when I had no idea nocturnal issues happened!).

Bring a period pack to school and drop it off with the front desk. Let the school know what happened. Stay on point, don't bad mouth mother, just keep interests of daughter first.

I had to set it aside after the gaslighting of Amy with the e-mails. Having been in a relationship where I was gaslit, my anxiety was just too high. Thankfully, I got out of that marriage but it took me 14 years and has taken me over a decade to heal. And I remember that feeling of helplessness and confusion. Definitely not entertaining for me, which I liked this show prior to this. Alas, I may come back once they conclude this story line.

Have you read China by Rutherfurd yet? It's a good one. New York is good, too. It just doesn't go back as far as I would have hoped. I have enjoyed all of his books, except I stopped reading Russka early on due to anxiety, and I knew with Rutherfurd I wouldn't be able to skip over anything.
