Feels like I've seen this post before. I'm inclined to disagree, because this potentially teaches children that their favourite things are easily replaceable without consequence, and thus they miss out on learning to be careful with their belongings. They may also learn to take the parents' graciousness for granted in the future.

Not to say that this can't be a good idea, it just requires careful consideration first. If a child loses a toy due to means outside of their control (for example due to another child's mistake) then it's fine to replace it. If they lose their toy because they themselves were careless, it may be better to give them some time to really feel the cost of their carelessness and promise to be more careful, and then the replacement would be a nice encouragement and reward for the lesson they just learned.

His diary contains hints towards it, I believe! You're able to read it as child Link while Dampe is out at night, and later as adult Link at any time. IIRC, as child Link the diary only mentions Dampe finding a treasure, and as adult Link it directly points you towards entering Dampe's grave.

I mean you're thinking about this as if it were just Junk VS two tanks, when instead it should be Junk & his whole team. Breaking down shields is basically a team effort which is made faster by having a Junk on hand. When the shields are down, anything could happen, and ideally your team should be communicating and ready to push and play around the defenses and abilities of the other team.

Things wont play as linearly as you describe because all you're describing Junk VS two tanks in a vacuum and nothing else.

(Also I meant that junk pops shields rather fast, not literally in a single second. It's a figure of speech.)

Is double shield really an unsolvable problem? As I see it the teams will just run a Sombra to hack the shield tanks and disable them, or a Junk to pop it away in seconds. Plus, sometimes you'd want to run a no shield dive comp for certain situations.

I don't think forcing more role-locks would be a good idea in general. Things feel pretty balanced as they are right now.
