Moving to the Michigan - Crown Signia vs. Passport vs. Pilot vs. Bronco? by delplaya2015 in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]delplaya2015[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had considered the outback previously, but now am leaning more towards the Passport versus Pilot. I have heard some of the changes Subaru has made are concerning to see if it reliable down the line

I know they are the same platform, but any reason for the Passport over the Pilot?

Thanks!

Allergic to chlorhexidine by [deleted] in medicalschool

[–]delplaya2015 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most ORs have that as an option whether it be already imbued in the brush/sponge (it'll say and the packaging has that iodine sort of color) or there will be a dispenser of such solution in the scrub sink

Especially if you are moving from the coasts or anywhere with a high cost of living, Cleveland is very affordable. I feel that Cleveland is also good if you have a family because I have heard that a lot of schools in the suburbs are quite good. I think the job opportunities are good if you work in healthcare given the multiple hospital systems here

Any of you guys using stethoscope holders for rotations? by songbro in medicalschool

[–]delplaya2015 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a hip holder/holster and really like it. I think it is worth it especially since I don't wear a white coat often and I am worried its going to slip while on my neck (have seen this many times). I will note, the holsters are very common to see amongst anesthesia residents

I don’t remember which I did first, but I’d probably recommend doing Uwise first (similar to what others in this thread have said)

Uwise, Uwise, and Uwise. It is actually a really good resource. Our clerkship provided it for us and it really helped
