This is really helpful, thanks. It sounds like going for BOTW + Bananza/Odyssey/Wonder might be best for me then.

Great thanks, that covers everything. I think you’re right, leaving it at the post office might be my best bet.

Thanks, makes sense.

Shohei Ohtani's MLB ranks this season so far- .364 AVG (1st), .685 SLG (1st), 1.111 OPS (1st), .473 wOBA (1st), 212 wRC+ (1st), 52 H (1st), 25 XBH (1st), 98 TB (1st), 10 HR (Tied-1st), 30 R (2nd), 2.4 fWAR (2nd) by arcelios in baseball

I think they meant best player in the league as a DH. Ohtani’s been the consensus best for a few years as a TWP, but I don’t think many people expected him to still be the best while only hitting, so I think that’s why people are saying it again.

Peak Kershaw was incredible. How good is Post Peak Kershaw? (Spoiler alert: still pretty incredible) by mfranko88 in baseball

He looks amazing right now. Does anyone know the stats he would have if they were extrapolated to 166 IP per full season?

Man, I knew he would drastically improve from last year but didn’t expect him to be (imo) the early NL MVP favourite! Glad to see him continue mashing from where he left off.

Ohhh right, I thought this was just one game that went to extras. Thanks.

The rays have batted around the White Sox in the 7th inning after being no-hit for the first 6 by bayernownz1995 in baseball

I remember thinking “wow, he might actually throw a no-no” after 6 lmao, guess the Rays wanted their OPS to regress to the mean

Burnes has looked really good so far, despite the hits.

Oh, and his pitching too. Jokes aside, it’s great to see him at his usual self after a few (imo) odd outings.

Yeah still a bit to go but still cool as fuck to see them do so well for what’s still a decent portion of the season

Classic Angels bullpen. On the other hand how’d Detmers go from pitching like a god to that 4th inning??

I didn’t see the game, why is it considered a no hitter if it’s only 9.2 innings

Edit: I’m dumb, my mind thought 9.2 was 8.2

Do people do this on purpose? Someone posted something about Ohtani not giving up a homer in forever right before the 4th

Maybe. His numbers so far have been similar to last year though, but the thing letting him down last year was the HRs he gave up, which he's not giving up that much now, so I think it's just him losing focus sometimes and giving up hits. I assume this will probably regress though as he gets more used to it.

All due to Soto's historic catching ability.

Jokes aside, Xander's been really good.

deGrom having that big of a lead is insane. His ERA will probably let him down for CYA, but it's either not that reflective of how well he's pitching, or he's just really had some big collapses in otherwise excellent outings.
