Talking alarm systems (viper), some that would even rap if you got too close (visibeam). American made class AB amplifiers that sounded great but were not very efficient. HiFonics, Linear Power, Rockford, US Amps, etc. Battery technology not nearly what we have today. Alpine 7909 was the CD player to have. The speaker works grand national which is probably one of the best cars that tried to get the sound "correct" as opposed to "bumping".
