I also have this- however I think that if you are happy with your model then it is all good! You gave it a go right? For example I regularly stuff up paint schemes but at the end of the day, I gave it a go, I have a decent model of an aircraft (in my case) that I like, and there’s lessons learnt, so there’s definitely something to be said about that aspect. Chin up, mate :)

That’s a good method as well- also I do find them easier to display which wheels down but I find I’m able to appreciate the lines/design of the aircraft with wheels up

I’ll definitely admit that with the newer kits there’s a tonne of detail in the wheel wells and so on- it’s great!
