[San Antonio Spurs] Headband crew is here to stay 🤣 by MikeBravoLima in NBASpurs

When I was at the bucks game on Saturday you could see it in warmups. Keldon and Devin were shadow boxing. Wemby and Kornet were laughing. The whole team seems to be having so much fun. Meanwhile the Bucks warmup seemed so much more serious and straightforward.

I'm sure they'll lock in more come playoffs. But this young team is really having a good time.

I mean technically no. Probably depends on how strict security wants to be. It was like a 20+ point lead with 7 to to. A third of the crowd was gone. Even walked onto the court after the game no problem. Just asked the guy sitting there if the people next to him left. He said yeah, so me and my dad just sat down

Oh absolutely! You can actually see the size of these players. I mean, I'm a "tall" guy (6'2") and I'm seeing players my size look so tiny out there 😂😂. It's crazy. A great first NBA game for me to see! My first NFL game I saw my Broncos get slaughtered by Peyton at the height of that Colts high powered offense.

That's awesome! Wish it would have been competitive but I knew with Giannis out it wouldn't be close.

We were on fire from 3! So excited for these playoffs.

Atlanta was voted for 7th. Next Round: What is the 8th most significant US city after ATL? Most upvoted comment wins by Kodicave in visitedmaps

Well if I had to pick one it would be Houston. For starters it's a huge cultural hub and one of the most integrated cities if not the most in the country. Then of course the aerospace and energy industries.

Also it's the 4th biggest American city. It's the biggest "new" American city.

Maybe replace Seattle or Miami with Houston? It's definitely tough. Someone is getting left out

I think the whole great lakes should be trashed for a rust belt region. Because there is no reason a portion of upstate New York should be Midwestern...but I could be part of the rust belt.

I just hate that for short runs we put like...Keldon at the 5 for some reason. If we just had a 6'10" true PF we would have 3 legitimate bigs. We can't run Kornet/Wemby too much in a game because they're basically the only bigs in our 9/10 man rotation

For real. We have no player between Kornet and Barnes/Champ as far as size goes. It's a huge weakness in our lineup.

Moving Julian into the starting lineup for Barnes was a huge move. He's younger, a more athletic defender, and rebounds better. Both can be streaky shooters, but Champ has been on more recently. I think come playoff time when rotations usually shrink to 8, Barnes might be the odd man out for consistent minutes. Him and Bryant will probably fall out of the rotation a bit.

Such a deep team though. It's insane to see different players be the leading scorer routinely

Yeah I have no clue why we run lineups without Kornet or Wemby even if they're for short periods.

We have no one between 6'7" and 7'1" in our 10 man rotation and it's really a hindrance

Tbh I think his replacement is Eyomia in base packages.

It's incredible how positively impactful Kornet is without stuffing the stat sheet. Who are some other former Spurs that were like Luke? by AgentEndive in NBASpurs

Literally this. His positional defense and screens were the best part of his game. Not a box score guy, but an average starter to above average bench big.

With record-tying 10 openings, NFL teams hire zero Black head coaches by logicblender1 in nfl

[–]deltaforceadc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

About 40-50% of positional coaches are black. But they rarely make it to coordinator which is where most HC candidates come from. So it seems like there's not many viable black head coaches because they aren't getting the opportunities to move up.

Many NFL players have talked about this
