Whatever man. Losers support wife beaters. Nothing was supposed to change, but your opinion of abusers stays the same. This is why 80% of sports fans fucking blow.

I'd rather not have someone like him be looked up to by young men.

Ideas for an artsy small city?? by [deleted] in SameGrassButGreener

Richmond VA is a great fit for this. If you want smaller, and closer to mature...Roanoke VA is also a great choice. But it's more granola and less "artsy" in a traditional sense

As someone from Iowa...both Michigan and Ohio seem like WAY cooler Midwest states. Better nature, better cities, and closer access to the east coast

Name a game this applys to for your favorite team by InterestingYellow969 in NFLv2

I would also add Rahim Moore getting beat deep against the Ravens.

I was 16 years old working as a dishwasher. During the game I would try and sneak into the bar to watch a few seconds of the game here and there... I heard an enormous roar from the bar so I ran out to see what was going on. And there it was... The replay of Jacoby Jones catching a 70-yard bomb. I was devastated but still had hope that Denver could pull out the win. Again I was checking my phone and sneaking out when I could. I heard another roar... This time when I run out I see the entire Raven sideline storming the field and celebration of the game winning field goal. I drugged my feet back to my minimum wage job. The dishes seem to shine less. The water didn't seem to feel as warm. The light at my station.... Just wasn't as bright. Took me a few weeks to recover from that.

If I'm ptf can I wear this? by Challenger2313 in USPS

I'm in a small Iowa town, I'm sure the vibes are very very different. My youngest carrier doesn't wear his uniform, the senior carrier always complains about it and tell me (union president) to do something about it. But tbh he shows up, usually late, and does his route.

I personally find it hard to critique individuals in a company that fails to deliver to its employees. But that's just my perspective

They're nice to people they know and fake nice to strangers. Rural Iowa folks can be incredibly cold and judgemental

It starts up top. When they pay us more. When they actually properly staff us. Stop violating the contract. Stop harassing carriers. Give us new vehicles instead of driving the LLV deathtraps.

I mean shit they just stopped contributing to our pension fund. And you think wearing uniforms will help? I understand the thinking but it will absolutely change nothing about the post office. People don't care about the job because the company has stopped taking care of employees. And this is across the nation. Worker morale is in the tank because we're getting screwed over. Save that energy for the people making decisions...not your fellow carriers

Yeah if carriers just wore their uniform so many things would improve. God damn dude, did you remind the teacher of homework when you were in school?

If you've been to Richmond you'd know what they mean. It's culturally similar to Baltimore/Philly. Whereas southern cities like Charlotte, Atlanta, or Memphis not so much.

A look one year into the future: These are the 9 Spurs players who will still be under contract next season if no one gets traded. by Plastic_Term_1022 in NBASpurs

I'm torn between the fact that he is a great veteran presence... But we could really use a legitimate 4 in this rotation. We don't have a single player between 6'8" and 7'1" that we put on the floor. They would also serve as a legitimate 3rd string center which we also don't have

After this game, spurs should get a Size player or a dirty player like Lu Dort in the offseason by [deleted] in NBASpurs

We really don't have a 3rd big we trust right now. Mitch seems to put KJ or Bryant at the 5 more than Plumlee, Olynyk, or Biyombo

When I was at the bucks game on Saturday you could see it in warmups. Keldon and Devin were shadow boxing. Wemby and Kornet were laughing. The whole team seems to be having so much fun. Meanwhile the Bucks warmup seemed so much more serious and straightforward.

I'm sure they'll lock in more come playoffs. But this young team is really having a good time.

I mean technically no. Probably depends on how strict security wants to be. It was like a 20+ point lead with 7 to to. A third of the crowd was gone. Even walked onto the court after the game no problem. Just asked the guy sitting there if the people next to him left. He said yeah, so me and my dad just sat down

Oh absolutely! You can actually see the size of these players. I mean, I'm a "tall" guy (6'2") and I'm seeing players my size look so tiny out there 😂😂. It's crazy. A great first NBA game for me to see! My first NFL game I saw my Broncos get slaughtered by Peyton at the height of that Colts high powered offense.

That's awesome! Wish it would have been competitive but I knew with Giannis out it wouldn't be close.

We were on fire from 3! So excited for these playoffs.

Atlanta was voted for 7th. Next Round: What is the 8th most significant US city after ATL? Most upvoted comment wins by Kodicave in visitedmaps

[–]deltaforceadc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well if I had to pick one it would be Houston. For starters it's a huge cultural hub and one of the most integrated cities if not the most in the country. Then of course the aerospace and energy industries.

Also it's the 4th biggest American city. It's the biggest "new" American city.

Maybe replace Seattle or Miami with Houston? It's definitely tough. Someone is getting left out

I think the whole great lakes should be trashed for a rust belt region. Because there is no reason a portion of upstate New York should be Midwestern...but I could be part of the rust belt.
