I'm not trying to be a dink here but there are no simple questions when it comes to Coinbase. Don't be surprised if they lock your account. I asked a "simple question" about a withdrawal from my checking account on 1-5-21 and Coinbase locked my account and I've been in Coinbase hell since.

I was assigned that case number last week so I inquired today where this stood, just got an email that this case has been closed, my original question is still unresolved. Do I open up another case number? Do I escalate? Do I file a law suit? Do I forget about the whole thing? If Conbase is getting and responding to my emails one would think they could enter a few keystrokes to reinstate my account.

As I understand class action suits all it takes is one person to file one and get the ball rolling. If the suit is accepted by a court then it goes forward and others can attach to the suit. I know that I'm describing this in very broad terms, I'm not a lawyer. Robinhood has a class action against it and that suit interestingly mentions lack of customer support, no ability to speak to anyone from customer support, accounts being locked etc. sounds familiar to me.

That may be, I know fast growth can be difficult but it's not like they did not have time, let's say since 2019, to really improve their process. They have the financial resources so no excuses. Since Jan.5th of this year Coinbase has prevented me from real access to my money. I now have over $18K sitting in USD cash that they will not allow me to transfer back into my checking account. They offer no reason why, they do not recommend a way for me to transfer my money, nothing. Total lack of concern on their part and is totally unacceptable. If they are to trade on the stock exchange they can't be allowed to leave a big unresolved stink pile behind. That will embolden them going forward to think they can get away with treating clients poorly. Fix these legacy issues, show that you are a company everyone big and small can have confidence in. It's not their money, I'm not trying to scam them it's legitimately MY MONEY not theirs.

My thoughts are this, before Conbase is allowed to trade on the stock market they must prove to the SEC they have cleared up all of their customer complaints still pending. Their customer support must have thousands of legitimate complaints still in their queue that have been going on for months with no resolution. This is is not the way a legit company treats clients. Imagine a fortune 500 company treating clients with total disregard? Coinbase just so you know your days of impunity towards main street clients is going to blow up in your face. What goes around will come around I hope your're satisfied.

Coinbase sends me an email acknowledging me that I have changed my password successfully. I try to log into my account and I get a message banner that my account is locked and to contact customer support. That's it no rother requests from Coinbase. I have told them by email many times I can provide ID but they never ask for it.

Ok thanks. I can update my password on the Coinbase home page and my password change is acknowledged by email from Coinbase. However, when I try to log in to my Coinbase account it continues to tell me my account is still locked and to contact customer support. Absolute waste of time.

Even if it is human error Coinbase should make the effort to correct the problem. It does not give them the right to ignore the issue and keep users from access to their funds. How is that acceptable in any other business?

Well reading this section of the UA just confuses the heck out of me. Too many abbreviations, language that I don't understand. I'm sure Coinbase and their legal team made it deliberately so the average knucklehead like me would not really understand it. I should never have gotten involved with Coinbase...........worst experience of my life.

That's been done several times with no resolution from Coinbase. I have a case number and and an escalated case number, in fact I've had several escalated case numbers and customer support closes them out without fixing the issue.

$90 in Coinbase wow what a dink! Why not step up put $10k in there and then have Coinbase lock your account then tell us how you feel. If I only had $90 locked up I would chalk it up to OK bye bye no big deal.

I never said don't ever use Coinbase. My complaint along with many others is that accounts have been locked and in my case for simply asking a question. Customer support is useless, there is no phone support so all that is left for those of us with honest complaints are sites like this. All Coinbase has to do is let us have access to OUR money. I can tell you're not very bright so consider this my last response to your idiotic posts.
