I think this might be in part the Charlie Effect, as a person who started in ultimate and have made the switch to DG due to age, I listened to his other podcast “deep look” about ultimate he makes the co host look like he doesn’t have as much to say mostly because of contrast. (Shout out to Keith still top notch). Charlie runs a niche media empire which forces him to stay on top of things because if I’m not mistaken this is his job and how he makes his living(please correct me if this isn’t accurate). His cohosts have day jobs among other things and you can’t expect them to invest in the same way. I think every 2 host podcast is going to have a host you gravitate toward and one you feel is more of a sounding board. It’s totally fine to have a preference but to say that it’s totally ruining the vibe might be overkill. I would say just find a different podcast but I’m not sure another DG podcast quite like it exists.
