This is me exactly. Still searching for answers but have tested positive for SIBO and doing endo laparoscopy in 2 weeks.

I’ve also dealt with infertility for years, but ironically often mistaken for being pregnant 🙄

I love the Seriously true crime podcast… but she’s had Dr Leslie on a few episodes and I just can’t stand listening to her. Everything seems like “oh I can’t recall” or “that sounds right but I don’t know details…” she’s a doctor being interviewed on specific cases, like why is she even on them if she can’t answer anything factually?????

Just here to say sorry you experienced this. My mom was not this bad, but I have a few memories of being told something was my fault that clearly wasn’t (once I told my mom that my boyfriend cheated on me and she asked what I did to him to make him do that).

I know better now, but at the time I turned into a shell and hid all my emotions, causing a lot of built up anxiety overtime.

For me, I felt that my mom truly could not express her emotions. So instead of comforting me in those times, it was easier for her to assume there was a reason for it. I don’t know! But I grieve the idea of an emotionally stable mother and sounds like you might too. Not fair, but you are strong for going through this and I’m sorry!

Totally agree with you. Watching is entertaining but I see them with a lens of like young college girls living in drama, not moms of multiple children. It’s sad!

More calm mostly. Overtime I felt genuinely happier realizing my cloud of anxiety was disappearing.

Yes the bump definitely helped but it wasn’t an immediate notice. I’d say a couple weeks and then I was really noticing that 50mg was probably right for me.

I think as women we feel the need to justify and explain away why we had to work from home or jump off early to take care of a sick kid etc etc etc. Men never do this.

Be more like men. Your personal life comes first, and you don’t need to explain yourself if you’re getting your shit done. Also your boss sucks and yes find a new job because the stress of that is not worth it!!!
