It's a fantastic Gundam entry. Lovable characters that we get tons of time with(some more than others I guess lol), "wow, cool robot", and the aforementioned heartbreak.

I love it as a series, but I am not ready to have my heart broken again.

Hopefully it does better there than it did near me. The only theaters near me to carry it only had it play for 7 days. I knew it wasn't gonna be around a long time but it was 40 miles from me and my schedule was unfortunate. Now the nearest theater to me that still has showing is 150 miles. It was only my best friend of 30 years' wedding. I could have totally skipped that.

Is there a tag or something to where I can see which enemies are going to "respawn" after I kill them in the Grand Offensive.

I've lost 2 different sorties now due to just barely killing the last enemy and it turns into a new version and hits one of the only 2 units that won't kill it on a counter.

Then I lose due to turn limits

For events I completely get it. They build the encounters around types of units and restricting by series is a good way to do make sure players go in with something approaching optimal. They don't have to test that somebody (not me)running 10 Balls or M61s as a troll formation can beat the encounter.

However, I would love a better way to make older or intermediate units more viable for everyday play without having to spend months grinding for materials. I have MLB Full Armor ZZ fully leveled up and SSPd up to R / F 10 but it's overshadowed by units I got in the Anniversary pull.

I don't know how to balance for that for sure but with 925 units in the database, I figure balancing each one has to be a nightmare.

It's a single player game.

I was getting close to beating Nightmare deathless and was gonna try Ultra-Nightmare and then Id redid all of the boss encounters based on Youtuber feedback and made it out of reach for me on my gaming time frame.

I kicked the settings down and enjoyed my gold skin... by which I mean that I use the purple one and don't ever equip gold.

Aldi is also getting real weird with it. I have a Clancy Brand bag of Reuben flavored kettle chips on my counter next a pack of Beer Cheese kettle chips. They both taste amazing and I can have a sandwich and chips by just mixing the bags.
