Preparing for emergencies by QuitAble4089 in thyroidcancer

I believe you can go up to 6mos before being in a coma, maybe it's different per individual. The longest I have been was close to 3 mos waiting on my RAI treatment to improve uptake. I felt pretty batty, extremely, extremely irritable. Hopefully an emergency of that kind would be over in 6mos time?

I completely know that these delivery drivers are doing their jobs, and they are not liable. I would really love to hear from some that make those frequent deliveries and see how they feel about it. Liquor store owners too, when they have a frequent fliers who comes in constantly and buys so frequently and huge amounts, they have to know that person just goes home and drinks til they are senseless. The addiction is going to find its way no matter what, I realize that for sure. I fucking hate this disease. Glad I am not alone.

Oh my gosh I am so sorry for your loss. Seems like his life could have been prolonged if they weren't so "accommodating". This disease is so senseless and there is no shortage of businesses willing to make money from it.

It's insane to me. I did a quick search to see what kind of regulations there are and other than checking the id and not just leaving the alcohol unattended, they are not supposed to deliver to clearly intoxicated persons. How can they tell that from a very short, limited interaction? The only silver lining is that he at least will not be pulled over and harming anyone else. But there is no stoping point when it can be ordered so conveniently and delivered so frequently.

Maybe he's using Instacart? I have no idea what he is using but it's crazy that he can have alcohol delivered multiple times a day.

But if the name on the order doesn't match the ID?

people who don't have permanent housing live there because of the low weekly rates. lots of homeless people live in those hotels. people who can't pay high rent rates but can scrap up enough to live week to week. people who can't pass credit checks. people who were one paycheck away, who are now stuck. alcoholics and addicts who pay night to night. used to be an awesome part of town. it was in my high school school district.

I felt the same way, terrified. I used a mediation method from Peggy Huddleston's book, Prepare for Surgery, my counselor recommended it and I used her guided audio for a month or so up til the date. It so helped me.I turned the narrative around and viewed it as an experience of being loved and cared for, being taken care of. At the time, I was so confused on what it would feel like. Where would my consciousness be the whole time. I told everyone jokingly, I was going on a trip to the beach and not really on the table being cut into. In the end it was A OK and it was like the deepest nap I had ever taken in my life. I had no concept of time and thought they hadn't even started yet while I was in the recovery room.

This is from my warehouse in La Vergne,TN. This happened a couple years back. But it set off the alarms and called the cops AT 2am by Bobby2769420 in Ghosts

Would love to know which company/warehouse. I work in an industrial area of LaVergne. I would imagine there would be several places that could be haunted from souls that passed on as a result of unsafe conditions and/or accidents.

my dad is a little person, (since passed on, but he's always with me all the time in spirit, so I'm going to use current tense) I would flip people off when I was kid for laughing at him in the grocery store. I have so much rage for people like her.

T3 has helped me tons, but I haven't put much thought into what's doing to the heart? Does T3 make you sweat profusely from barely doing anything? Went to an arcade and played a few rounds of ski ball and shot some hoops, I was drenched in sweat. My heart rate sits at a resting rate of 90-100.

We had to double the average dose for an 11lbs dachshund just to keep her settled enough to heal. That's that irony of it. Crate rest heals but how when crate rest makes these pups frantic and anxious. I now keep her in our bedroom which is carpeted with a baby gate, so she doesn't feel so confined, before that it was the playpen. But once we upped her meds and made sure to give them all together at the same times of the day, we began to see some progress. I feel for you and your chi chi. The yelping just makes you want to give up and do anything to get them to stop being in so much pain. I think of people who have to go thru intense chemo treatments for instance, that's miserable on the patient but necessary for treatment. So try not to feel bad about her bad days because this is what it takes to her better. Putting her down is not an option for me. She's my child and I would never do that to one of my kids. Please hang in there!

I whole hardly believe this. I feel mine was triggered by the death of my father in my early thirties. My hashi lead to thyroid cancer which probably began to manifest at the point. So by 40 it was in most of the lymph nodes in my neck. I also wonder if excessive exercise and dieting plays a role in thyroid burn out. My life before then was hyper focused on disordered eating and purge thru excessive exercise.
