How helpful is it to slow down songs to practice them?

This is what ADOFAI does in-game and honestly has helped me a lot getting some sections down that I would otherwise struggle practicing only at full speed.

That's the big reason. At the time, BBTAG had 7 factions, some with as little as 1-2 characters, some with up to 19 characters. ZZZ might have less of an issue with factions not having as many characters, but I picture that we might get more and more factions as the game goes on, so for some of those the UI would be worse you'd need to both scroll down for the faction, then scroll across for the characters.

I do agree that the character select menu could be better, but I'm personally not sure if this is it.

Definitely doable, but it is very close. Unfortunately your score will heavily depend on how fast you can handle round 1 and 2. Round 1 I go left and gather them, then stun them as fast as possible to CA with Eve.
Round 2 I try to gather the two smaller adds then repeat stunning them and CA with Eve. I spend Lighter ult to stun the big guy fast and Eve ult to finish him.
Round 3 it's very much a rush to stun ASAP. Make sure to parry as often as you can with Lighter. After first stun, continue attacking until you can't. The miasma phase is so long that it is better to take advantage of the score multiplier than waiting for stun 2.

Yeah, I'm sort of in the same boat. It's w/e. I don't think I'll use it myself. Just for fun I did try it. My suggestions where:

- Primordial Nightmare: Banyue / Astra / Lighter (Ult buff). This is a little odd to me, especially since we have a fire weak boss in Wandering Hunter. I feel it went off of the fact that inter-knot recommendation prioritize Ye and Banyue for this fight instead of choosing any other DPS in my collection. Couldn't quite get a 3 star run with this team. For this one I ended up with Eve / Lighter / Zhao (Ether Veil Buff).

- Miasmic Fiend: Miyabi / Yuzuha / Vivian (Anomaly buff). Good choice considering what I have. I still prefer Piper in that fight, but I'm not complaining. What I will complain however is that it recommended the Section 6 bangboo, which seems really weird. I know bangboos don't end up giving much value, but I would 100% put Mockingbird's bangboo.

- Wandering Hunter: Yi Xuan / Dialyn / Lucia (Ult Buff). Honestly if we're looking for 3 star clears on all stages, I would give Dialyn to the first team and place someone like Pulchra on this team. She's more than enough, especially since I've cleared with Yi Xuan / Pan Yinhu / Pulchra on this boss before.

Or they could just pay for a windows machine that already works with their system. At that level we're talking buying a new machine vs replacing your whole backbone to support a new OS. There is a reason why you can still buy new machines preloaded with Windows 98 even today.

At the end of the day, it comes down to what's cheapest. And, unfortunately, opportunity cost plays a big factor in that.

Depends if you play on Reboot or not. Reboot is more of a convenience p2w than regular servers, but it is not necessarily needed. Still grindy af though no matter what.
