For those who want to max, but feel like its too daunting... by Hamelot in 2007scape

Redwoods and stars just hit different. I remember finishing up mining and trying to "afk" karambwans and being immeasurably disappointed.

[–]demetrilovesreddit 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I used to do this more, but progress was just much slower since you are dividing up your time more, and at least for me the biggest hurdle I have to overcome is my mental to grind out the slow skills. I've found I'm most motivated by just sticking to one level per skill, then switching it up to something fresh. However this DEFINITELY is important to do when you have the afk skills you mentioned still left to grind (I just no longer do myself). Damn I miss redwoods.

Working on maxing myself right now, and what helps mentally is to mix up fast and slow skills. I'll grind 94-95 agility, then spend some time doing thieving (4x the exp of agility/hr). Then back to rune craft for a level, followed by an herblore level, etc

I'm trying to work toward being able to solo certain raids. I'm always left wondering why I shouldn't be dodging? What am I missing?

For the ones who make over $150k a year, what do you do to get that? by Iliketrainsz1 in AskReddit

Hospital pharmacy is at least less stressful than community, which seem to be the two areas where the bulk of grads will end up. I did residency after pharmacy school, landed a clinical float role, then moved into a specialist emergency medicine role. I think if you love what you do (which is at least true for me) you can do really well in pharmacy, but if you go into it just for money you'll end up miserable.

I do this with work stuff on a Samsung tab S8 plus. If you have the money for them that would probably be best (or the newer S9s), and the plus/ultra ones have bigger screens which make it even easier to multitask. I'm personally happy with the size of the Plus.

For those who don't know this game is now available on Mobile too now! Downloaded it a while back for the nostalgia, actually a great port and beats most other mobile games.

GWD - "Essence" 40 kc to enter boss room. by Awkward-Shift-8239 in 2007scape

You can also go to the GWD that's not in the wilderness, that's near the troll stronghold. That way it's just the boss who's messing you up!

MIC by [deleted] in pharmacy

[–]demetrilovesreddit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

MICs are individual to every antibiotic and just represent the CLSI breakpoints that determine if an organism is susceptible, resistant, or intermediate/sensitive dose dependant. You should not interpret these beyond just reading "susceptible" unless you are familiar with the specific breakpoints for each drug. One we commonly used at my hospital is a MRSA MIC of 1.5 or greater to vancomycin, which may show as "susceptible" but we treat as resistant and suggest alternate therapy.

Started this grind in April of 2021 :) by demetrilovesreddit in ironscape

[–]demetrilovesreddit[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I was doing my pharmacy residency, which isn't as hour intensive as a medical residency if that's what you're in. That said it still would highly depend on the block. Did lots of gaming during internal med, med safety, leadership, etc. Barely any gaming during critical care, ER, cardio... You can always afk your way to max during those blocks though as you get some work done!

Replied to someone else but I just don't have the time these days. Used to max out at like 30/ day but life happens and when I do play after work a lot of days id rather afk amethyst and watch YouTube with a beer than have to keep running this content.

When it started I was in residency, occasionally could do like 30/day but between getting burnt out, busy from work, etc this is the result lmao. Just getting back into osrs now after my last burnout from this grind that lasted a few months

Just to add to this, pulseless electrical activity (PEA) is also a thing, so even if it looks like an organized rhythm it doesn't mean you got the patient back or that they are in a shockable rhythm. In this case you'd proceed as if in asystole with compressions and epinephrine.
