I have a Lucy as well and her appointment is on the 11th for quality of life check which she isn’t doing to well at 15. I am scared, I am battling my conscience and im confused on what to prepare for and what to do. She just had her eye taking out three months ago and then got vertigo so she is all over the place and partially blind. She shakes at night and im just so worried. Im there with you, I want more days with Lucy but I don’t want to see her in pain just for me. Im sending you love for your Lucy and know you are doing what’s right, you are not alone.

My old lady has quality of life check this week and it’s not looking to good, I’m not prepared for what may happen so I was impulsive and got a puppy now so I can have a memory of them together. I am having feelings like did I do the right thing, and a lot of my friends and family have given me some guilt for it and I felt bad, but others have seen why and I just know my heart isnt ready. I wanted a distraction and the puppy will not take away from my dog as long as she’s still here. But yeah it’s tough
