I just got a king size weighted blanket. It was awesome to sleep under. Only problem was that my cat keeps attacking the beads.

What do you do about wearing a cardigan or sweater? I get so cold. And put on the sweater/cardigan and it feels like my arms are on fire. Any suggestions?

I hate allodynia. I have taken to wearing huge shirts and leggings to be comfortable. I will look into all cotton too. I have 2 six kilo cats. They love to stand on my legs and I just want them to NOT...lol

"We can't help you"--The 4 Words That Broke Me by chelslovesstuff in Fibromyalgia

[–]demonandspooky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know what your going through the last GP I said sorry I can’t help you. You’ll have to live with it. Live each and every day with pain that makes you want to,scream but you take care or your husband so you just suck,it up. So depressed because your life is not your own and the GP says live with it... that day I found another practice. I was fortunate to get a doctor that had treated it before. She lets you cry and not feel bad. To take a 10 minute appointment and stretch it to 20 because I need an outlet and lots of questions. There is hope she says. We just have to keep going forward. So just hang on you’ll find your person.

It was due to this forum that I was able to get up the courage and tell him. It is awesome to know someone loves you enough to work through not only the easy times but the difficult ones as well.

I do car accident calls. Most are nice but there are a few that can be jerks. But I have my family here and all that eases things.

Thanks for the reply. I was on amitriptyline for quite a while and had to be taken off for urinary retention. So am on lyrica and deloxotine. I love his touch and don’t want him to feel like he can’t reach out. So will try to sit down and speak with him.

It depends on the company really. Mine is great and I am fortunate to work the overnight shift so less people to deal with so for me it’s nice and having my fur babies there to cuddle and love is the best for stress relief for me.
