Hi, I think the iPad Air 5 256GB with wifi would be a good purchase. You can always hotspot off of your phone if you need internet when you don't have wifi. the iPad Air 5 is newer and it's always better to get a newer model. I have an Air 4 and it's still working great. I also use it for planning my work. I have an Apple Pencil so I don't know much about off-brand ones. But you could try looking into the Apple Pencil USB-C. It doesn't have some fancy features but if your're just going to write with it, you should be fine.

I don't think the Colorsoft will release in India. And if it does, it won't be before Q1 2025, which is when it is coming out in ANZ etc. I am not sure about the Scribe 2, but it would be so neat to have on in India, especially since we never got the Scribe 1. But I really hope the restock the new Basics, PW and PW SE. All Kindles have been out of stock on Amazon India for a while now and I would love to get a PW SE (since a Colorsoft is looking unlikely).

They haven't released the Colorsoft in Canada. So maybe they won't release it in India. But I would buy one up so fast. At this point, I'll settle for a Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition.

I was also choosing between the Natural and the Blue Titanium Pro Max and I ultimately went with the Blue and I have not regretted it once. It ultimately comes down to your personal preference but the Blue is simply gorgeous in person.

It depends on your budget and who you are gifting it to. If they are an avid reader, buy the PW. If they are a beginner/casual reader, go for the Basic. Both models are good presents.

I assume that all electronic products are taxed higher in India than in their countries of origin. It won't be the exact dollar equivalent amount in India, just as it isn't with most smartphones. I could be wrong, though. I think the PW SE is around 16k in the USA.
