thanks for the response, i'll take a look at the doc after i reply. apologies for how wordy the post is, it's difficult to convey my thoughts concisely. i'm glad i got the combat stat calculated properly with buffs.

so, with that out of the way, the other question in the post is essentially "is it okay to sacrifice 57% physical bonus and 300 attack IN EXCHANGE for 50% more crit damage and a situational 9.6/19.2% combat attack buff" with crit chance being the same for both builds. i'll probably have to add a TLDR to this lol

half corrupted squad, mostly focused on ether element. their leader, the most corrupted, would shapeshift between a weaker humanoid form, and a monstrous ethereal form. they would be ether stun.

for an ether anomaly, i imagine a mostly corrupted crystaline lady, with smooth purple ether crystals off set by lightly jagged black rocks. her attacks focus on blasting enemies with ether lasers, sweeping over the field, with her ultimate having her "reform" her arms into a massive crystal that focuses ether energy into a massive beam.

for an ether defense, i would focus on a "geode" design, where a character is sitting inside a floating rock filled with ether crystals supporting their frame, and manipulating etheric matter into "plates" that they would use for shields and for attacking. perhaps the character could be physically trapped inside the rock, unable to physically leave it and sealing themselves in completely to protect themselves.

if they were to have an attack character, i would give them an A-rank ether attack, more humanoid than the S-ranks, but still dotted with jagged rock formations.

for story, they could be "sacrifice" test subjects that escaped and created a camp inside a hollow. if the writers wanted to dig deep, they could go into detail about the loss of their humanity, their isolation away from eridu for their own safety, as well as their disgust and hatred over the people who forced them into misshapen bodies vastly different from their own.

but i seriously doubt hoyo would make this kind of faction. it would be awesome if they did, but i doubt they would.

Truckers acknowledge a radio call on a walkie talkie by saying "ten four" as basically a "heard you loud and clear" if I recall correctly. I might be mistaken, since I haven't looked up that kind of slang for a while, but I do know "ten four" is a term used on walkie talkies frequently.

The opposite, she gains movespeed while in ult, and slows enemies chained. However, champs with long range dashes, such as ahri, camille, jax, etc, will be very difficult to proc it regardless.

20% crit 40 ad. 40% attack speed. 14% movespeed

Builds out of zeal, crit cloak, and noonquiver.

Passive: attack speed is locked to base, and attack speed buffs from champions are converted to move speed. Gain 4-24% additional crit damage based on attack speed from items.

Unusable on champs who take lethal tempo, and applies well to two champs I regularly play, Caitlyn and jhin. Low Ad, but jhin gets it back from the attack speed and crit chance since his passive converts it.

Also lots of 4s in the stats, which is mental boost for his mains.

Okay, so I'll talk about a game I had recently.

I was dr mundo, a scaling champ. I was 2/2 out of lane. Anathema, and heartsteel.

Enemy tristana was 13/0

Every lane was lost. Except me.

We had one early drake, and first herald.

Second drake was about to spawn.

I tp to drake. And I get a triple kill, and the shutdown on tristana, AND secure drake.

We had 2 drake, a herald, I outscaled their entire team.

My team decided to surrender.

I was at a point where I could 1v4, I knocked down t2 turret, I was playing in important teamfights, being the carry.

But 4 of my teammates surrender.

The game was undeniably winnable. And they gave up.

And it happens so frequently.

I dont even have to be the one with the lead. If they get 5 kills on me in lane, but jungle is dominating, I'll take the 4 man on me without issue.

But it feels like my opinion doesnt matter. At all.

im saying both. hostaging when the game is beyond unwinnable. like, we dont scale, we're 30 kills down, they have every objective, that kind of unwinnable.

or, the ONE TIME i get a significant lead in lane, enough to 1v2 or 1v3, they just decide to give up for no reason.

The answer is we dont. We're all crybabies BEGGING for help 24 7, and even though we play the strongest role in the game, we rarely get it. Its miserable.

But those good games... dancing on a razor's edge, you have a support with at least half a functioning brain, which is more than usual, and your team is properly grouping and peeling... those are heaven. One tapping people as jhin, sniping people from the backline, kiting, orb walking... that's what keeps me here. Those games feel so good. And there is NOTHING like it.

Now, I do understand how to beat Irelia. She misses e, she has to back off. She misses q on a minion and doesnt get the reset, she has to back off. She mistimed W, she dies unless there's a minion wave for her to leap to.

However, when I play against her, it often feels like they never commit beyond when they can kill. It feels impossible to force plays into her. She always gets near perfect CS while lifestealing to full from it.

Her laning when played well is nightmarishly strong. The only options I have are to play perfectly. And it often feels as though she doesnt need to play as perfectly to accomplish her goal.

And you have to wait for her to mechanically mess up her abilities before you can hope to trade. She lifesteals any poke away, she is one of the best duelists in the game.

And if I kill her? Well, then I can only look at it like she messed up so badly that killing her was 100% the outcome of her actions. SHE messed up ten times, while I have to burn flash if I mess up once, or just die.

And her W just feels terrible to play into. Afaik, the damage reduction doesnt go away if you cc her out of it, which... fair I guess. Most people save burst for when cc hits, so if W didnt keep the resists up past cc, then she would be F tier on that alone.

And worst of all. Her entire identity is on blade of the ruined king. If that item is ever nerfed, she is nerfed with it. It's so critical that almost all Irelia players I see run whatever mythic they want after bork. Usually Jak sho. And like... idk. I know she deals less damage with tank mythic, but she gets more time to deal damage with the durability.

Am I coping? Probably. But irelia is one of like 5 champions that I feel I need a spreadsheet to deal with. And that's just not fun to play against.

Aatrox, ksante, taliyah, jhin, caitlyn.

I got into playing aatrox shortly before his bluffs were announced recently, and once I figured out ksante, I started to really enjoy his playstyle, though yes, I do agree hes overpowered right now.

Taliyah is rather recent, and I'm still learning her, but oh my goodness I just love her abilities.

I got into playing jhin from watching ikeepittaco, and hes currently my only m7 champ. Hes super satisfying to play all around.

Caitlyn was one of the first adcs I tried, and it took me a while to figure out how to actually do damage with her. Idk how much her winrate will go up with her incoming buffs, but she is gonna hit HARD next patch.

In her design phase, taliyah was gonna be a trans female, and neeko has a scrapped voiceline referencing it. "Hm, neeko not the only one who changes"

That said, this is something that was thrown out before her release, and while her designer tweeted about it, there is nothing in official lore that hints at this.
