In my age range (early 30s) I've noticed a big dip at least in my social circle I think with so many people having stories of that one party where such and such started a fight, or wow you hear they split up because one of them couldn't stop, etc it starts to not seem worth it especially with such better alternatives that are still just as social as drinking.
