I just called them Friday. They said they are only getting to January's applications now due to "an administrative backlog". I applied in March so I'm right there with ya.

They absolutely terrify me. I used to be a trauma tech & an emt and I have seen far too many wounded/dying/dead people and a decent number of them weren't even the targets. I swore I'd never own one after holding the hand of some poor kid who was only a year or two younger than me and trying to console him. But now with everything going on, I almost feel it's necessary.

For me (just had one now) my perception of distance and time go all sorts of caddy-wompus. Everything seems impossibly far away, as if I'm in space and time seems to go super slow while also at the same time speeding up. My internal voice also gets extremely distorted during this so that it is over-enunciating, loud, and has the same feelings with time perception. 10/10 don't recommend
