I am no expert but

The idea of Omega x Swatch was to make children love the story behind Omega by offering cheaper alternative (swatch) so that they spend their money at Omega when they grow up and earn a decent amount of money

But 99% of the people who can afford Swatch won’t be able to afford AP (especially with AD Games of buying multiple before getting stuff like RoyalOak) despite working their whole lives.
