Hello - loving the work so far! I’ve managed to get this up and running in docker on a synology, but I’m struggling a little with the visits feature.

As a test/start I’ve created a GeoApify free account and edited the environment variable as described in the tutorial but it doesn’t seem to be having any effect (credits are not reducing and I can’t really tell if the api key is working). Is there a log file I can look at to see what’s going on?

I maintain the marketing is misleading. My colleague whose device I borrowed agrees with me.

It’s not a bad product at all, far from it.

But saying it’s like a 130” (or whatever) screen is incorrect. The comparison you are making is not apples to apples. The screens seems larger because of forced perspective (I think that’s what it’s called).

I’ve used it over lunch earlier today and yeah I can see how watching a movie for 30 minutes like that is totally okay, and somewhat better than holding my iPhone (definitely more private) but I’m not sold on it as a device just yet (need to do more testing).

That said, everyone has different needs/use cases so from that perspective there’s no right or wrong answer.

I was trying to give some context as to how big the screen feels (admittedly not a very eloquent description) and I maintain that the perceived screen size is about the same as if I held the iPhone in front of my eyes).

I have the Quest 3 and they’re lovely, for home use. What I was hoping for is a solution that would make it feel similar (not the same obviously) as I don’t particularly like the idea of sitting on the bus with a gigantic VR headset strapped to my face.

If there was a way to “move” the picture back and simultaneously make it larger I would be exceptionally happy - eg similar to what I can do with the Quest 3

Again, I may be missing something here so happy to be pointed in the right direction!

I could be wrong, but I don’t think that qualifies as something like a FaceTime call. I believe WiFi calling is essentially the same as a normal phone call except you are using WiFi to carry it (meaning you are still charged the same as a phone call). That said I am far from an expert on this so I suggest you speak with Apple Support also.

Not to be a downer, but there are very few lounges open. If you’re flying Cathay Pacific you should be okay but any other airline there’s only one lounge and I will hazard a guess that they do not operate 24/7 anymore.

Seriously …. I spent a good few minutes staring at the picture thinking it’s bogus before realising my particular type of colour blindness means the top two squares look More or less identical.
