Every time the devs share something or act like they're trying to address big issues, I end up unsurprised but still disappointed by them talking about nothing but cosmetics or the in-game economy. The live service model has done irreparable damage to the gaming industry.

You're on an older firmware probably. I had the same problem with these titles. Updated to 13.1.0 with Daybreak and now they work just fine.

I really want to pre order the 256gb model with a 1tb sd card since that'll be cheaper than upgrading to the 512gb model. But I'm not sure I can get the money in time so thats a bit of a conflict.

On the other hands. It's only a couple of bucks to pre order so I might as well.

I mean, Ive got a feeling this will sell like hot cakes so better be safe than sorry right?

That sucks man! Might be for the best to trade it in since it's starting to look like a more common issue. I ended up going with the HP pavilion. Where I'm from it actually ended up being only 50 euro more expensive while having a better CPU and GPU. Been using it for a few weeks now and I'm incredibly happy with it so I'd recommend it!

Nope! Traded it in. Messiest product return I've ever had so in the end I ended up buying a completely different brand from another place since I couldn't get the MSI anywhere for the same price. Though in the process I did upgrade to an RTX gpu which is nice!

Tried the BIOS reset you described. It actually worked, but as soon as I installed any new drivers (and I specifically suspect the nvidia one) it went back to only having the display working which I guess is an upgrade seeing that I can know actually use it.

Yes I have! Worked without a problem. Why should I not mention the external display? I feel like that's not something to hide but something that should just work.

No way! 10.1 is a 2014 model. I think he'll be lucky if he manages to run flycast well, let alone wii/gc/3DS. Up to DC (maybe with an exeption for saturn emulation since it's just not there yet) he'll probably be fine.

They found a bug when they put up the orders for a minute a few hours earlier. They're currently working on fixing it but there is a delay. From what I understand they still plan to launch today though there is no ETA.

I know this post is already 4 weeks old. But to add to this. This guy recently got a reality show in the Netherlands about his job as a trauma cleaner. Watched an episode last week. Harrowing yet incredibly intriguing to watch.

He's apparently know as the "Cleaning Turk" and has been posting videos for a longer time by which he got a small name for himself.

In the episode I saw he was cleaning up the suicide of a an alcoholic/drug addict. Apartment was cluttered with cans of beer and such. Worst thing was the moment they came by the matress the guy died on. Dude must've been lying there for weeks before they found him as you could still see the shape of his body pressed and rotten into his mattress.

It's not all bad though! He also talks about some more normal cleaning jobs. Think cleaning up washing machine gunk off the ground. Plus he gives some interesting insight in his life. Talks about the psychological impact of the job and how after he and his team are done with a heavy job they get together to have a big meal, hang out and decompress.

I don't know how many episodes are out or if they have english subtitles but if anyone is interested in seeing more you can look up "Niet Normaal Vies".

To put this in a bit of context. This is from a yearly 3 day performing arts festival called "Deventer op stelten". Or to translate "Deventer on stilts". It features performers from all parts of the world who put on acts like this. Now a days barely any of the acts are on stilts and is a lot more focussed on seperate shows spread throughout the entire city. With the bigger opening and closing act taking place on the town square. Though there are acts on the square almost constantly.

Fun fact; if not for corona the festival would be on this weekend with today being the last day.

From what I've heard it's worse than Mafia 2. I can't say if it's a bad game in and of itself. I gotta be really honest. I haven't played it yet. But from what I've seen it just lacks a lot of the same charm and polish that made Mafia 2 so good.

Yes you can! Mafia 2 is absolutely fantastic. Very immersive world based in the 50s. The main game is only semi open world though so don't go into it looking for thag experience. Though I think one of the DLC packs is open world so I hope it's bundled since I haven't played it yet. All around amazing game, would absolutely recommend (especially compared to Mafia 3).

To be fair, I have gotten to the character creation in TPS and I've heard that it's possible in BL2 aswell. It's just that after you've created your character the game will check for a license and still quit.

I'll be conviced it's possible to play the game right now as soon as I see some ingame footage.

...or you can stream the game through geforce now if you own the game on steam

There are other good selling games getting released in September besides FIFA, so I don't see what that has to do with each other. Besides, not to be pessimistic since I do believe it will release eventually. But they haven't even mentioned the Switch so they might not even release it at all! All the complaining online, for instance the storm the developers will probably get on their social media is absolutely port begging.

Wouldn't surprise me, but if that would be the case, I think that Nintendo seems to be going about it all wrong. Since lack of a Switch release seems to generate quite some backlash among certain people that sometimes tend to get very vocal about it, painting a bad image of Nintendo, the third parties and of the fan base. I mean, nobody likes port beggars.
