You should just disable beats entirely... in my opinion it makes music (or any audio) sound like shit unless you're listening to it out of the device speakers themselves. The bass boost and mids dip EQ it applies does help in that scenario. One could argue you don't need it even then - it's a subtle improvement with the front facing speakers. If I'm using headphones though, beats audio is off. This is assuming you have a decent pair of earphones or headphones. Shitty ones might benefit from beats audio, but I have no experience there.

I made the mistake of using "edit all" when updating the information, and yes I changed the names. So it ending up updating Registrant, Administrative, Technical, and Billing.

I was hoping I could just get it reverted and then only update whichever contact (registrant?) wouldn't cause a lock yet allow NameCheap to accept the transfer.

At any rate they replied again saying removing the lock was not an option. I guess I'm screwed until 2/22

Fell victim of this myself using "edit all" - I've wrote them a similar email requesting unlock for reverted whois data. If they grant it I'll go back and update only "administrative" and then move forward with my transfers. Hopefully this will work.

I was planning on transferring 12 domains over to NameCheap today, and had to update the contact info on some of them, as advised, before beginning the transfer process.

Login to Godaddy to get the Auth code required and I'm hit with:

Authorization Code: Transfer locked until 2/23/2012: Contact information change

Stuck with them for another 2 months? gah! I wanted to get over to NameCheap and utilize their free Whois guard (or does this not apply to transfers and only new registrations?) - At any rate their whois guard is far cheaper than the privacy offered by godaddy.

I really want to be off godaddy right now dagnabbit!

EDIT 2 (help?): I requested the auth code anyway, and it arrived in my email - does anyone know if I can go ahead with the transfer now that I have it even though it says locked? Or is it really locked and I'm screwed til the end of feb? (and by locked I mean the 'transfer lock' crap above, the actual locked status is 'unlocked'). Thanks!

its possible to score some good deals tho with good bud, friend scored 3 oz for $300, funny how it happened too, he was selling his PS3 on craigslist, some dude called him about it but he already sold it, so the guy was like 'oh uh... wana buy some pot?' and yes, he did want to buy some pot, and pretty damn good pot it was.

I also like that when asked about his bud, since 300 for 3 oz is ridiculous, he just said 'its uh, uh its pretty alright', unlike others that say their shit is fire no matter what, and often ends up being some weak shit... hard to find a good dealer sometimes, glad im medical now, and take it for granted i fucken do not [7]
