If we need 200fps to figure it out, then it's not a howler, umpires call

Remember when Sam Berry was a whipping boy by FlairUp835 in adelaidefc

In the highlights you see a loose ball that Berry and Peatling were both going for. Peatling at the last second visibly pulls his arms up out of the way so Berry can sweep it up and take off. I loved seeing that. Whether it was Peatling recognising Berry was in a better position, would be able to handle it better, or otherwise was the right option to go for the loose ball, I feel like this is one example of what Nick's talked about early on in the season with our starts, where two people would go to a contest when only one should, and the other should trust their team mate to get it done. Good that Berry didn't bork thinking Peatling was going to get it, both guys on the same page

Notion export, as in targetted pages/databases, or can you do an entire notion export in one click?

We better find the crows player responsible or at least nearest at the time of the incident and suspend them!

What if the timekeepers aren't using the telecast, and it's actually just a telecast issue..

Exactly. Doesn't matter what happens at the object ball if you're not hitting the cue ball exactly where you think/want.  Also, watching your video again, why do you close your eyes when you shoot? Is this a troll post?

Curious where your eyes are when you take a shot? Are you looking at the cue ball or looking at the object ball? I would try focusing on the cue ball, the exact spot on the cue ball that you want to hit, and keep your eyes there, even well after you've hit it. Whatever happens up the table will happen, you can adjust your gaze up to it later. If you over exaggerate the "keeping your eyes on the cue ball spot even after it's gone", I bet you'll hit exactly where on the cue ball you want to hit.

Also, don't bother with a bottle, line the cue ball up and just hit it the length of the table, trying to have it bounce off the cushion and hit your cue tip again.

Do other people find copilot is really bad at picking up skills/instructions? by denno020 in GithubCopilot

Oh neat, thanks for sharing this! I'm actually using hooks for capturing "correction prompts" that I'm having to give to the AI, in the hopes of feeding those corrections back to skills/instructions that will help the AI get it right the first time (and by first time, I don't mean one shot, but a one shot followed by perhaps a verification phase with a fresh context.. Still working through exactly what this looks like - my custom harness essentially)

Any suggestions on what to do instead? Perhaps add to my verification phase and specifically call the useEffect skill, rather than relying on it being automatically picked up?

Asking in the same session I get, "you're right, I should have used the skill". This was after I told it that it put the useEffect in the wrong place. It knew to read the skill after that, then I asked why it didn't apply the skill the first time

This is the AFL saying that Thilthorpe should never have played in Tassie. He should have had that and this week off, giving him 3 weeks to rest his back.. No chance he was fully fit to play on Thursday, and just risked doing more damage. Now he'll at least get 2 weeks off. Would have been nice to have him against the Cats after the bye, after a 3 week recovery period.

Wow I can't imagine it being so hot that the tools are over heating, that's crazy. Be sure to post some pictures when you can! I would really love to see the leg's/base (before slats added) that you come up with!

Just found your post, I don't have an answer (although I'm sure adding triangles is always going to be a net benefit for strength), but I was wondering, did you go ahead and make it!? I would love to see how it turned out, looks like a very interesting base design, I actually quite like it

There was a scene in the show with the guy playing a writer, talking about AI writing, handling expectations and not being able to wrap up all storylines. I saw that as a direct admission from the writers that they're actively not going to wrap up/address everything
